how does the qr feature in pokemon sun and moon work?
 
In order to get a QR Pokemon team you need to have a PGL (Pokemon Global Link) account to use this feature.

Assuming you have met this requirement of having an account at the PGL About the Pokemon Global Link QR codes . You can then rent the Pokemon teams by scanning the QR codes. Sign up Here Also, make sure that the PGL is set to your country of origin...The link I gave for you to sign up may be the US one.

The idea is quite simple: you need a PGL account. Then you scan a qr code, and bam! you have a qr team :p
