How does the MH4U demo interact with the full game?

I recently got the demo for MH4U, because my partner really wants to play the game with me. He has the full version of the game and is afraid that if he downloads the demo to do multi-player with me, it'll affect his full game somehow.

I'm pretty sure he's just being a dork but he does have 400 hours logged in that game so I can't really blame him that much. (I taught him how to back up his save files)

So, how does the MH4U demo impact the full game; is it just that if you have no save file at all on a MH4U game it'll give you some thank-you gifts (like Bravely Default and most games do) or will something actually happen to an already existing game?

Thanks!

The demo shouldn't effect the full game what so ever.

Well, if you had it 5 months ago, you could've had it for half price at the e-store. That's how I got it.

It's also on sale on the eShop now until January 1st. It's around 45% off or something close to that so it's a good deal. If you like the demo, get the game now so you save a bit of money.

To me it interact with the full game because it gives you a taste of all of the cool adventures you can do in the actual game. It gives you an easy boss like the real game to start off with. Then it gives you a medium like monster so that you can get your skills better in the demo version. Then it gives you an extreme monster that you will need to perfect your skills on the medium monster so that you have a chance to beat the hardest monster. That's how I think the demo interacts with the full version.

That has nothing to do with what he was asking...

If you meant how does it connect to the full version, and let you continue from there, it doesn't, it just gives you a taste of how completely awesome the full version is. Also, just buy the card version, the eshop version takes almost takes up a complete SD card.

I downloaded it, I still have a ton of space left. I also have 3U downloaded on my 3DS and Smash just to name a few. It'll take up almost all the space if you have like a 4 GB SD card with stuff on it already but not if you have bigger.

I have 32 GB, just because I download almost all my games. Still, 4U is only about a 2.5 GB game.
