I don't know how many coins there are but I am trying to collect all of the coins and when I do I will let you know. I am going to make two profiles so I can collect all of the coins in one profile and spend them to do more levels and collect all of the coins and keep them in the other profile.

I currently have 23838 coins. At World 6-Castle.
That said, I have yet to do any of the bonus levels like World Mushroom or World Flower, nor have I been very preoccupied with coin collecting, so that amount WILL rise

I have 1,043,753 coins and i spent a lot of time on coin rush and beating streetpass records. and i finally accomplished my goal of reaching over 1,000,000 coins ahh that golden Mario statue it kind worthless for 1,000,000 coins and cheap as a prize but i still like it
