How do you get your Pokemons usually?

I have about 260 I think maybe 300. I actually don't have the basic Pokemon like Mightyena and
Masquerain. I mainly complete my Pokedex by Wonder Trade, Pokebay.com , and ocassionally when bored, going out to mirage islands or random routes and capturing Pokemons.
 
In Pokemon White version I used to like catching Pokemon because I always wanted to finish the pokedex as much as I could so I tried catching most of them and it was really fun training them and evolving them or catching them and breeding their lower evolutions . But of course to me it was impossible because there was a lot of Pokemon and you can't just catch them all without like Wonder Trade and trading and those other stuff

I think I caught like 3oo something so far
 
Whilst playing the game, I just caught any new Pokemon I saw. In Kalos there are loads of those, plus when I transferred my older Gen Pokemon over it filled up around 20/21 boxes. I guess thats around 600? It may seem like a lot but a lot of them are the same Pokemon caught again or something like that. I'm not currently working on completing the National Pokedex though.
 
Whilst I don't hunt Pokemon (since I'm lazy o3o), I catch most new Pokemon I encounter. I receive some by wonder trade (especially the starters from other regions). So far in oras I have caught around 200, although i just wonder trade them afterwards :p.
 
I diligently caught them all in Pokémon X, with the help of my past games and my Pokémon Y game.
 
Most of pokemon i get is from wonder trade as wonder
Trading is kind of fun + I have many. Chance of getting shiny from wonder trade. I also used catch pokemon in wild too.
 
I be only caught around 20 or so since I only got the game a few days ago and trying to finish up all the gym leaders first. Haven't tried wonder trade yet but might do it later if catching pokemon becomes too much of a bore. Aiming to catch all 700+ in the game !
 
i have caught all the pokemon in ORAS it took sometime though I had to trade pokes from oldergenerations and trading pokes on the GTS.
 
I believe I have over 470. I catch whatever I can from the specific region and then use the GTS for the ones I can't get.
Or through breeding and evolving! WT gives pokemon I don't have sometimes but it's not that often since WT is mostly breedjects and the usual ones.

i caught them all in platinum, than again in black 2, i'm maybe half way on omega ruby, but i did some trading and have completed the kalos dex. (actually a lot is only available through trade) so that kinda gives me the feeling i already caught them all. My hoenn dex is almost complete missing some that need breeding to get or happiness to evolve. (or legendaries that had to wait since i sr for nature)

I never completed a pokedex but, I think I'm close to completing the Kalos pokedex because all I need is a Yveltal.I have caught like 500 or something Pokemon in National Dex.I haven't caught much Pokemon on Omega Ruby because I'm lazy.But I got like 200 Pokemon in Omega Ruby.

I completed both dex from xy and oras. GTS, evolving, wonder trading long hard stuff. If you trade a shiny through GTS I am sure you'll get anything you want:p....How the hell did i get a japanese event competitive keldeo in a GTS. was not expecting that.

I have caught about 450 pokemon. I have completed the kanto and the hoenn dex except for a few pokemon which I'm working on now. I used the GTS to get the basic pokemon then evolved them, and traded that if needed. I'm now going to start work on the johto dex.

As of now, I have 416 caught Pokemon. A large portion of that is from Wonder Trade, and let me just say that it took so long. Funny thing is taht I've gotten Pokemon that need to evolve while traded while I was there, namely, Graveler, Haunter, Pumpkaboo, and Boldore.

I have... 719 lol. I completed the Pokédex in X and then I decided to make a Living Dex so I wouldn't have to worry about that in ORAS, it took me about a week to complete the Dex and a month to complete the Living Dex. Pokémon Bank makes it ever so easy to transfer Pokémon between games, I completed my OR Pokédex withing the first hour of gamepley :hilarious:
