How much do dolls creep you out?

I've seen a ton of these on Ebay, some with hefty prices because they have "Paranormal activity". Apparently, these sellers are speakers who can communicate with the spirits inside of the doll and see if they are either good or bad. The dolls pretty much speak back to them with their answers. Absolutely creepy.

A really bad doll would tear sheets up, appear in your dreams, and simply make your life hell. You'd see shadows and shouts. A good doll is no better, and has certain "conditions" that it wants from its owner.

Of course, I do not believe in anything paranormal and it sounds absurd, but the dolls themselves creep me out. They look unnatural and give an uncomfortable presence.

Oh gosh, where do I begin. I have to sleep in my mom's room and my mom loves dolls. It's horrible. She has 2 that especially creep me out, their eyes are all black >.<. I still have yet to ask her why she has them, but at the same time I don't exactly want to know ;-;

They obviously make most of the 'paranormal activity' tales up so they can sell simple dolls to some crazed thrillseeker for a fortune.

A few dolls would scare me to death as a kid, especially this baby doll that had one eyelid loose so it was always half-closed. It felt like it was trying to wink >.>
Now they don't bother me, but they might a little if I was in a place with them alone at night.

Dolls, I'm wierdly fine with. Manaquins on the other hand though...

I guess I've just watched too many 'doll-centred' horror movies and played too many horror games with dolls in them but it's not scary. Whenever I think of dolls now, I remember playing Layers of fear and in that there's a doll that just runs across infront of you and hits the wall with a loud thud. That killed any fear of dolls I had as it was so funny :p

The thpe of dool is a serious factor in the matter. If its like a doll or something thats from a tv show or a doll that come with alot of sccessories with it, i guess thats fine. But if its like a doll that has a really pale face or has a creepy toothy smile, or just sits in that chair at the dark end of the hallway, i cant, i just cant. Makes me feel wierd just being in the same rooms with those things >.<

It depends on the doll really, but usually I get scared. Something about their blank faces smiling like there's no sorrows in their life scares me. It's like staring at this smiley for too long. In fact, this smiley looks like a doll ---> :)

Nothing scarier than bugs & spiders tho..
;~;

Well not to creep anyone out ,but some dolls actually have spirits in them because my cousin said she used to see her dolls moving at night and since my cousin was very quite they thoughtbeing isolated was messing her head ,but it she never talks about it anymore also how scary can they be once I broke some dolls with a bat for being so ugly and my friend was scared ,but I was outgoing xD Lol

They don't really scare me in the slightest. They can't really cause any harm to anybody. I don't believe this so-called 'paranormal activity' that apprently lives within them. Nothing bad has happened to me so far. xD

I used to dress up like a doll! \o

They don't scare me at all, I find them pretty cute, specially the elegant ones, the Victorian dolls?

The ones you talk about, doing paranormal stuff, I think it's just scammers trying to rip people off due to the recent popularity of horror movies with dolls in them...
