How old were you when you started to play any type of Mario game?

I THINK that New Super Mario Bros. was one of the games I first got with my DS Lite when I was 8, and if not I got it later on and Mario Party/Mario Kart DS were my first ones.

I think it's still relevant to say that my mom, on the other hand, played the original SMB games on the SNES when she was around 10-12 ;)

i think i was like 4 5 or 6 i dont remember but i remmeber having super mario 64 and that mario game on the snes forgot what its called

my first game and mario game i can remember is super mario 3 advance for gba. I was 4 years old

Hard to say I had a SNES wiht Super Mario World when I was 6 Years old.

I don't know, probably very young, like 4 or 5? Not sure if that was on the computer or game boy either.
Just remember that it was not coloured :p

I was about 7 to 10 in that range,i actually can't remember because I was little,i used to die a lot because I had no experience as a little child at that age in the game but I really enjoyed playing Mario games when I was little.

I was about 6 when i started playing i could not stay a live for my life. I hade my aunt play the game for me and took it back at the end. I be leave it was mario!

Infant, really. There was this MS-DOS Mario game my siblings played and I joined in. It was really fun. Mario (or maybe Luigi? I was too young to distinguish) could scare the Piranha Plant by making a face at it if he was close enough. I've searched for it since, but haven't been able to find it. It was a really fun game though - one of the highlights of my childhood.

I think it might have been Mario Is Missing (I was too young, I can't remember) so you guys may go :wtf: at me but it was still fun when I was a wee lad and had more patience.

I was 3 when I got my hands on Super Mario World. Never looked back on Mario games, and until I was 13 that's all I ever played until I discovered the internet and got into other games (Pokémon, Pikmin, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing) Of course, I had Smash Bros at an early age :sneaky:

I think I was around 5-6. I played Super Mario Bros (original GB) at a cousins house, and it was so addictive. :dead:

I think I was about 5 or 6 years old when I first played my first Super mario Bros game on the old Ness system. I remember the 8-1 stage was really difficult to pass, specially in the part when you have to jump into one block platforms and immediately jump into the next one.

I remember that I had my first gaming system at the age of 8 more or less. Obviously Super Mario Bros was my first game in my system. I used to play it for long hourses but I never got bored. I really love it.

I remember 8-1 stage was so difficult for me too. I spent a long time to pass it. Fortunatly I could pass it.

I was 5 years old when I played my first Mario game. I was at a day care too. It was Mario Kart 64. Man that was one fun game. Good thing I have on the Nintendo Wii VC. That game made me eventually want to get an N64, but since they didn't sell it anymore, I got a GameCube. My first game on that was Mario Kart: Double Dash.
