If a Dozen Nintendo 3DS's Cost $12.00.. How Much Will a Hundred Cost?

NOTE: you'd be surprised how many got this question wrong when I asked random people...

12/12 = 100/x
12x = 100(12)
12x = 1200
x = 100

I almost thought $100, but then I realized that a dozen collectively cost £12, not $12 each.

Everyone knows what tax is, so lets put that in
I shall use New York State Tax do to it being the largest in the US (I think)
lets first find the cost of one system:
12=12.00x
1=x
Now we shall multiply by the amount we will buy
100x=1(100)
100x=100
Now we know this, lets incorporate tax (8.725)
100 X 1.08725= x
$108.725
Round it out:
$108.73
