SSB for 3DS How SSB4 is supposed to sell OR/AS

That's right, one of the best selling handhelds is supposed to sell OR/AS.
Iwata stated in an interview how this is supposed to work.
Basically, considering SSB4's release date is close to OR/AS's, the thrill of relieving the players childhood for some older audiences from Meele come from SSB4, and they want to continue that feeling in OR/AS.
Interesting way of trying to sell a Pokemon game considering if you played Pokemon as a child and own a 3DS, you'll probably buy it anyway.

It all really depends on the audience. But chances are if you like playing pokemon you may enjoy smash as well. Along with people who don't play pokemon but still like smash. Another factor to consider is how long fans have waited for a hoenn remake which many are tempted to purchase ORAS to relive their great RSE memories. So with a new smash fans love and a remake that fans have waited so long for the sales for each will indeed be an interesting result

Im not really sure as 1 is a remake, and the other is just smash 3ds with some new features. both are games I really want, but I think most will probably go with ORAS first as it is SOMEWHAT a new game with a lot of new features from the orignal Ruby and Sapphire. but thats just my opinion, maybe SMASH Wii U will sell more. Honestly though, this Idea could work out just fine
