i dont care what anyone says, the new pokemon series is terrible and doesent even come close to how cool the original series was. in the old pokemon it had a great mix of action and comedy. now its not even funny. pikachu used to be so cute, and silly. just look at the showdown at the dark city. half the episode pikachu carried around a bottle of ketchup and just loved it. then when slyther cut it up pikachu's eyes started to water. funny and cute. but he was also a seriesly strong pokemon that never gave up. also ash, he used to take battleing seriously. but now hes just a joke. he used to run around looking for trainers to fight, but now he just waits for them. also when a pokemon gets hurt in battle, istead of saying. COME ON GET UP. or, YOU CAN DO IT,or even my favorite. WERE NOT GONNA LOSE. but now he always says. OH, ARE YOU ALRIGHT. god hes just not the same.
also in the old pokemon they acted like real people. when thier was trouble they first stayed out of it, but then they were somehow dragged into it. but now if thiers any sign of trouble they immediatly head for it. also officer jenny isnt the same. anytime they try arresting ash he says hes innocent and she believes him. in the old one she acted like a real cop. and just arrested him on the spot. also ash dosent act like a trainer anymore. he never trys to catch pokemon anymore. the only time he does is if they become his friend first. look at the manky pokemon episode. ash did his best to catch him, and when ash picked up the pokeball manky broke free and beat him up. that was halarious. but now they spend the whole episode trying to be friend with the pokemon. when ash tryed to catch bulbasoar he had to battle him at the end.
and they just dont build friendships like they used to. almost everyone who watchs the episode when ash trys to let pikachu go, will cry. but now its just not sad. also what happened to meowth. he used to be the smart alack of team rocket. but now i dont even know what to say about him. pokemons not even funny anymore. im writting this because my brother, who is seven, chose to watch the original pokemon over pokemon xy. so please comment. let me hear your oppinion. i need to know im not the only one who thinks that they ruined the pokemon show.
