SSB for 3DS How to avoid spammers

Lately, I've been using Mr. Game & Watch in online battles and it is somewhat difficult to fight against Ness spammers. Ness' PK fire attacks are hard for me to absorb when I expect it, and they're hard to block when I'm not expecting it. I always fear of being above 80% damage and Ness grabbing me right after a PK fire. Whenever that happens, I'm toast lol.

Well no matter where you go and fight , there will always be spammers all around when playing Smash 
The only thing to do is to try to deal with the person and develop a strategy against it 
though it can be really annoying . Whether it be a character spam or spamming a move there is always spammers >.< Though I wish there weren't

Rawr I'm a Pikachu. If someone was Spamming, I spam back at them with thunderbolts As I go closer to them. Anyway you can not avoid spammers, you hav to deal with it. Learn to avoid projectiles as you go closer to them instead. Or u could steal there projectiles and throw it back at them. Or use charcters to reflect, absorb, pocket projectiles. Or do wut I do.

@OopaMazo The best thing to do is just predict the pk fire roll grab ness down throw then low jump and do air neutral he will use his second jump then when he comes down side b and hope for 9 lol or just keep him off the stage by using up air and just attack him. 3rdly when he ties to reciver take the pk thunder by hitting or absorbing it and he will fall to his doom ! Hope this helps

For me it depends on what they're spamming. If they just spam projectiles I'll probably just perfect shield or spot dodge them until they move. Or if it's a character like sonic with his spammy spin dash combo I'll probably hold the shield until he rolls past me then punish with a back air or forward air.

@Chrizychris99 you're advice seems pretty legit. I'll try all of it next time, especially the one about absorbing Ness' PK thunder when he's trying to recover. Although Mr. Game & Watch's Down Special has a bit of duration before another move can be performed, it shouldn't be too hard to recover myself; I just have to make sure I don't overthink it.

I think a solution for spammers is to make a plan before even meeting up with one. If you find a spammer who uses energy projectiles online, then just pick a character with a reflector or Ness and Lucas who has Psi Magnet. If they spam non energy projectiles, find a character with a reflector. Otherwise avoid them.

I've had legitimate trouble against Samus. But it was mostly one match and my character had to do way more work than Samus. I think I could solve this by a simple character change to Ness or G&W or better yet Mewtwo. If you have trouble against Link use Ryu and his side special. It cancels out arrows and wind and Ryu has about the same speed and Link and can deal damage easier than Link. That or play Olimar and crouch often. Rosalina and Luma also do a good job because of down special.

it depend what character they use to spam with. Example Pikachu: Just keep perfect shielding of spot dodging and put some pressure into your opponent. If its a sonic: You should predict what they are going to do. Or if your using a character with projectiles start just throwing lots of items at them and pressing pressure on your opponent and start some wacky combos. But spammers are soo annoying! Everyone hates them!
