AC:NH How to delete a player's name from your villager's dialogue in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

When people visit your island, your villagers will talk about them. These players do not have to talk to your villagers for them to mention them in dialogue. I'd like to know how to delete a player's name (or everyone) from villager dialogue in the game.

You can reset your game, and your villagers won't talk about them anymore!
