You need to hit a person with a weak horizontal attack. If you've seen the description in MySmashCorner's video, you'll get a list. But if you're not playing in Battlefield, the opponent can jump out at any time if they can react fast enough. If an opponent do miss a tech however, just run up and press the A button AFTER releasing your Circle Pad. If you don't do this before releasing it, you'll end up staying in the running animation which can result in a Dash Attack. Also, make sure you get the timing right, hit the opponent while the blue-green shockwave is there, if you try this in training mode, you can see if you did it correctly. If the opponent stays standing after your first jab, then you did it too early. If the opponent stays collapsed on the ground, then your jab was too late. If the opponent gets up automatically after a few seconds of your first jab, then you've done it successfully.

Go to Smash corners smash channel! Its helpful there! And practice it with foxs jab lock. First you have to press jab 2 times but not the third and then fastly press down and repeat the process! You have to do it fast and it only works with certain characters
