This was a problem that I recently had, and it was very annoying.
I found out that after I saved images from the internet, it automatically installed extensions, that put ads everywhere!
To remove this, click the three bars on the top right corner of chrome, right below the red close button.
Now on the left, click Extensions.
Delete all of them except for the ones that you got yourself. If there are still ads, then delete all extensions.
If that still doesn't work, disable your plug-ins.
Look around the settings if still nothing works. It could also be the website, but I assure you 3dspedia doesn't have any ads :)

This helpful, I know that Chrome loves having adds and pop-ups which is very annoying:( but seeing this and now knowing this I and everyone else can use Chrome add free! :D

I'm pretty sure Chrome has Ad-Block Plus. I use that on Firefox and it works like a charm. Then again, I haven't used Chrome in some time on my own computer (only occasionally on the school computers).

You should get adblock because it removes a lot of ads. It also removes ads that randomly pop up on websites. Also a warning is that some websites and games do not work with adblock on those websites. I suggest adblock to anybody who is having trouble with ads.

Yeah , sometimes those extensions which they add to your Google Chrome can be very annoying when you have an AD on every single page you go on ! Removing those extensions are the answer and most definitely an AD-Block will do the trick on all other ads :p

If you download any kind of free software, make sure that you READ VERY VERY CAREFULLY to make sure that it doesn't give you any kind of additional "programs" (aka adware/malware). Always go for the custom installation, because the people who make the software sometimes package in some adware to make some extra $. They get some money every time you see an ad, so they put that there not to be mean, but to make a living. It's still the same uninstall process as a basic program, just look for the sketchy looking titles and names of things you don't remember installing in "Uninstall or Change a Program" in Control Panel.

I love Ad-block, my Chrome is almost always ad-free.
I recommend AdwCleaner programme to remove malwares. It works for me every time I got random ad that cannot be blocked by adblock. My friend also loves it when I recommended it to her.

Also ad-block plus is a very good extension! It can't remove malware/adware ad's though which can stinks, So your gonna need mcafee or somthing else like norton to fix adware.

Adblock Plus for president! You'll be completely adfree! Great extension. Of course, if you want to get rid of beacons and trackers, or if you just what to see who's tracking you (you'd be surprised) (@TyroneTheNinja this might be interesting for you too: ) Ghostery is even better. No adds, no beacons, no trackers. And no malware/ad ware adds. It pretty perfect. But when ABP blocks adds it also removes the space where the add would have been so that the page stays pretty. So for the best experience I'd say; combine the two. I haven't seen an ad in months. Most people use only ABP, which is fine, but Ghostery allows you a lot more control. Just try them and see what works for you. :)

Be careful though. If you really like a website, don't disable the ads on it. The website is earning money from the ads so if you block them, they don't get any more money from you.

So remember to disable ad-block on websites you enjoy.

Ad-Block.

If you install AdblockPlus, make sure you go into the configuration afterwards and block the "Adblock Warning Removal List". They seem to like to give exemptions to popular websites, and some of those websites have really annoying ads.

That said, I completely recommend AdblockPlus. It's never done me wrong.
