You may have tried breeding Pokemon before; looking for that perfect pokemon, but it was just too time consuming, so you gave up. While looking on 3dspedia, you may find daycares and members willing to breed you some Pokemon with perfect IVs, but they can be costly (In Pc), and take quite some time to breed the Pokemon that you request. So, what can you do? Do you just give up on breeding the Pokemon that you want? Do you pay someone else to breed Pokemon for you? Well, I'm about to tell you a new way to breed Pokemon that may change how you feel about breeding.

NOTICE: You will need some way to keep track of numbers (A.K.A. A writing utencle of your choice and some paper, or a note app on a phone, tablet, or computer)

NOTICE: This method does work in OR/AS, but I have'nt finnished those games yet, so I can't tell you how.

Step 1:
Familiarize yourself with what the Destiny Knot and Everstone do
  • The Destiny Knot garentees the transfer of four stats from the parents to the offspring
  • The Everstone garentees that the parent holding it will transfer their nature to the offspring
Step 2:
Catch ALOT of the Pokemon That You Want
What you need to do is to find a friend safari that has the Pokemon that you want, then catch ALOT of that Pokemon, and have your IV's checked in Kiloude City. Alternitavely, if you have Pokemon OR/AS, you can use the DexNav to get the Pokemon that you want with two to three stars of potential, and have their IV's checked. Unfortunately, I don't know how to catch Pokemon in the wild with two to three IV's, so if you can't get the Pokemon that you want by these two methods, just go to google and search something like: "How to find Pokemon with high IV's in the wild".

Step 3:
Catch alot of Magikarps.

EDIT: The reason why you need to catch magikarp is because it will hatch faster than any Pokémon.

In this step, what u need to do is to catch Magikarps until you have a male and a female with natures that dont effect stats, (A.K.A. The natures Hardy, Docile, Serious, Bashful, and Quirky). Another way to get magikarps with natures that dont effect stats are to:
  1. Catch Magikarps until you have one with a nature that has no effect on stats
  2. Breed that Magikarp (while holding an ever stone) with a Magikarp of the other gender (or a Ditto)
*Note: Do NOT give the destiny knot to the other parent, so the offspring will (most likely) have diffrent stats.

Step 4:
Check The Parent's Stats
Now that you have both parents, go to the battle institute in Northern Lumoise city, and save (this is important, because you will be soft-reseting). Now that you've saved, challenge the battle institute (single battle) with your Magikarp and two other Pokemon. Note: You CAN'T enter both Magikarps at the same time. Now that you're in a battle, check the stats of your Magikarp at level 50. IMPORTANT: Make sure that you write down EVERY stat of your Magikarp (A.K.A. Hp, Attack, Defence, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defence, and Speed). Now that you've written down that Magikarp's stats, soft-reset your game (hold L + R and Start/Select) and check the stats of your other Magikarp. As long as the stats are diffrent, and you've written them down, you DON'T need to do this again.

*Note: If the Magikarps have the same number for one of the stats, you need to find another Magikarp and test it until you have two magikarps with diffrent numbers from the other, e.g. Male: Hp: x, Atk: x, Def: x, Sp. Attk: x, Sp. Def: x, and Female: Hp: y, Atk: y, Def: y, Sp. Attk: y, Sp. Def: y (It does'nt matter what stats the Magikarp have, as long as that category is diffrent from the other gender's category).

Step 5:
Put the Magikarps in Daycare
Now that you know both Magikarp's stats at level 50, put them in daycare with the destiny knot and the everstone and run/bike around until theres an egg. Reject the fisrt egg and save. Now you're in the "time machine". Run/bike around until theres another egg. This time, take it.

Step 6:
Fly to Lumoise and hatch the egg. Once the egg has been hatched go to the battle institute and dowhatyou did with the parents, except compare the stats. Five of the stats will originate from the parents, and one of them will be random. Write down wich stats came from which parent, and which stat is the random stat, and reset.
If the child inherrited stats from the parent that fulfills the category that you want:
  • Switch out the Magikarp for the desired parents, get the egg and hatch it
*Make sure that you switch out the Magikarp's items to the desired parents (it doesnt matter which parent you choose to have which item, so you can easily pass down natures).
E.g. Hp: P, Attk: P/R, Def: P, Sp. Attk: P/R, Sp. Def: P, Spd: P.
*P = Desired Parent's stat
R = Random 1/21 chance to be perfect
*Note: egg's stats are pre-determined, even before the Daycare Man gives it to you.
However, if the egg did'nt have desirable stats, or got the stats from the wrong parent:
  • Run/Bike until the Daycare Man has an egg
  • Reject the egg, save, and repeat step 6
If you follow this method, you can get 5 IV Pokemon in just an hour or two! (after you have completed steps 1-4)

In case you needed more of an explanation, here's a video of J Flynn using the method, (although he does'nt go over the natures of the magikarps...):

If you are still unsure how to breed for IV's using the Time Machine Mathod, please reply to this thread with your questions.
Also, If you still don't want to breed, even using this process, I have a Daycare that you can request Pokemon for Pc.

*Note: I did not find this exploit, and all of the credit goes to the people who found it, (It's hard to trace this exploit to the people who found it).

Wait I'm kinda lost. What does Magikarp have to do with getting a Pokémon I actually want to breed >.< I understand the first 2 steps but the 3rd one kind of threw me off because all of a sudden we gotta get Magikarps.

The reason why you need Magikarp is because it's the fastest hatching Pokemon in the game, sorry about not clarifying that.

Ah. makes sense. So after the whole Magikarp thing you just replace it with the Pokémon you want to breed or is it something else? Not really understanding the connection .-.

To clarify, you use Magikarp to check what stats the egg will have, (since the stats are pre-determined) then if those are the stats that you want, you replace the Magikarps with the desired parents, if not, you reset and don't accept the egg

Oh ok. NOW it makes complete sense. Thanks for the insight.

To be honest, I think just hatching egg after egg is easier then this. But maybe that is just me who has done it many times. Just release the Pokemon that don't have the same stats. Everyone has a different way of breeding. I just think this is too confusing to me. ;~;

Yeah. Time Machine Method. Very complicated. I only use it when I'm struggling, then again, I struggle doing this as well. I use Magikarp as they breed the quickest but hypothetically it could be done with any pokemon. I just get 2 4IV mons and breed. Found it simpler. Or 2 3IV....

To clairify again, this is much faster because you can see which parent passed down which stat, and use parents that have those stats, instead of relying more on luck

To help you out, what I've often found is that since I'm usualy breeding for more than one Pokemon, if the stats match for a pokemon that I want to breed other than the one I'm currently breeding, I breed for the other pokemon
