How to play Pokemon TCG?

Hello it's me Char, and I am back with another question (Yes, ANOTHER one!)

I skipped that tutorial of pokemon TCG by mistake when I downloaded the app for my laptop. Anybody here can teach me how to play pokemon TCG? It seems kinda complicated...

Also, what are booster packs? I know how to get them but I wanna know what they do and how they help you.

I never learned how! I just sent out 6 pokemon as my team. And played against my friends as in the games! Basically pokemon games in real life, but without the power points. (Btw I was 7)

I would say i am intermediate when it comes to tcg if i were you before i get
in to legit tcg try tcgo first. Not only is it really good for starters because it
has gym leaders to train and what not. But at the beginning of the game if
gives you a big tutorial that explaines literally everything about tcg/tcgo so
my recomendation would be to go check that out.
