So... I want to battle so people, but I jjust realized it was a doubles battle, not a singles... and I don't have a doubles team. I want to know how to change my singles team into a doubles quickly. :/

So I have these Pokemon at my disposal competitively trained for singles (too lazy to post all the stuffz)
M-Gardevoir (Calm Mind Hyper Voice Focus Blast Psyshock) , Skarmory (Stealth Rocker), M-Gyradaos, Staraptor (Intimidate for some reason and not Reckless...), Keldeo (Subsitute+Calm Mind), Gothitelle (Trick Trap),
Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake
, Gengar. I will post if need be.

I'm more fond of singles, but I think you should (first off get reckless on Staraptor) try to make more sets helps the two pokemon support each other. For example, if you have pokemon that knows a healing move, like Heal Pulse, you should keep that pokemon out the most, so that it can heal the partner. Also make sure your two active pokemon can cover their partner's weaknesses. I usually have a Golem out with my Staraptor in case any Electric or Ice type pokemon are on the field, just an example. I don't know much about specific sets for doubles but support is somewhat important.

Singles is very different from doubles. You can't just use the same Pokemon for both singles and doubles. Doubles(like VGC) is very different from singles. For example, Charizard X is used a lot and is very good in singles, while it is not used as much in doubles.

Second, doubles is more fast paced than singles. Nobody ever uses Stealth Rock or any other entry hazards in doubles, if you see some VGC videos.

Third, your Pokemon should have good synergy with each other. For example, if you use a Garchomp, u should have a few flying types or Pokemon with Levitate so you can spam Earthquake.

If you want to succeed in doubles, i recommend just making a new team, because a team like yours can not do very much in doubles as it is very different. A team trained for singles will not do great in doubles.

Something that I found that looks pretty cool are rain dance teams. I've only seen them in singles, but I think that they could do well in doubles. I mean, first turn drizzle politoed uses surf with the stab boost and the rain boost with dry skin choice scarf helioisk means that helioisk gets healed, and heliosk uses thunder which has 110 base dammage and 100% accurcy in the rain, plus the choice scarf and the stab boost. At the end of the turn politoed could heal with leftovers. Another nice thing that you could put on helioisk would be something like a electric plate instead, and volt swich, meaning that helioisk is a floater.
