How will you pick your starter?

Yesterday I bought a $50 eShop card to buy Pokemon this Friday. Now the only issue is figuring out which version and which starter. So now I must ask: Which version will you be getting and why? And the same question stands for your starter. I can't wait to play with you all later!

P.S. I'll be going to Disney World Friday so I have two things to look forwards to!

That's nice yourpapoose,my starter would be either be torchic or treeko but I would go with treeko because of its speed,design,moveset and not to mention his mega evolved form.

I usually decide my starter on a Pokemon game by the typing and design. Honestly that will rarely happen though, since I lately have been noticing a pattern that I start off my Pokemon games with the Water-type starter. I just love Water-types, and can't deny the fact that I want to start with them on a Pokemon journey.
