Support Needed I don't know what happened to my 3ds :(

This all started today and I don't understand why... I was playing at school and my ds just randomly shut off. I later got home and tried to play it and the bottom screens colors and pixels were out of wack. It looked like the graphics were taken back a century. I will try to post a before and after pic later. Also I did some research and i think it might be a broken ribbon. IDK but could someone help me? I will provide any info needed. Any halp would be appreciated.

It sounds like internal damage so far, I can't really tell but once I see a picture I think I could tell what's going on.

If by out of whack you mean a strange white color or something similar, then it's probably a problem with the SD card. Just remove it and then put it back in. Tell me if this works.

already did all that, i looked it over with alot of people who work on 3ds and in just planing on upgrading to the new 3ds

If you can, try a system restore first. It just may fix any problems.
PS: Are you using homebrews by any chance? Some may cause this.
