I am not sure what you are asking to be honest (not your fault. it's 4am here and for some reason I'm answering this).
In Japan, you paid for one game (ex Birthright). Then you have the choice of buying/downloading the other path (ex Conquest) for much cheaper and the 3rd DLC Path (Invisible) for the same price as the dlc. The ones you download cost much less (I believe it was ~1800 yen which is like 15 dollars now?)
We have little to no detail about the American release other than it will probably be released in 2 different versions (like Japan) and that it is coming in 2016. In japan, there was a special version that contained basically all three paths in one cartridge (Well they have Birthright and Conquest on the cartridge and a Invisible kingdom code). This was more expensive but since it came with goodies and had all three games, it was overall cheaper. I really hope they release something similar in America but there has been no details.
