I have all 3 amiibo

So yesterday, my aunt finally shipped me the Splatoon amiibo I've been waiting for all summer. Its pretty awesome to have amiibo but I'm torn on whether I should open it and actually use it for its purpose or leave it in mint condition. I don't know what to do. So do you have the Splatoon amiibo? How much amiibo figures do you have?

I have 2 of them, and I'd say to use them. They give you gear in game and the challenges are fun. Not great but fun.
