Q: Is it worth buying?

A: Yes! It is totally worth it. The C-Stick is extremely useful especially in Majora's Mask 3D and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. Also, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will be launching soon only for the New 3DS XL! It is a really good buy and I recommend it.

Review:
This system is great and I use it pretty much every day. It ranges from Amiibo support to being able to have an extra stick without an accessory. Its pretty much a portable Wii U. A lot of games coming out will have amiibo support such as Codename S.T.E.A.M and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. Amiibo used in Codename S.T.E.A.M can bring new characters into the game. This only works with the following amiibo:
Marth
Ike
Robin
Lucina

Xenoblade Chronicles didn't give us much amiibo information except that you can use the following:
Shulk

Yes! Shulk is extremely hard to find but I bet nintendo will be making more.

The New 3DS XL gets a 9.0/10

The new it sounds so cool, but I'm happy with my old one. Not saying I won't want the new one if something was to happen to the current one. ;)

I heard that its faster than the old one is that true? (You know with loading)

Yes! It is way faster with loading. Loading Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is so quick and when you close it, the entire system doesn't restart

This is exciting to read because I am currently about $20 shy of getting a 3ds XL (new)....hoping to get it before the end of the week! Looking forward to SmashBros for this!

Sweet! It's a must have then:D that's what I like about the new one the old one (that feels weird to say:rotfl:) it kills me how slow it is.

Well I wish you happy gaming!:)

You have a go at it when you got the cash! I wish you great fun

Thank you! When you do get it holler at me!

One thing I did forget to say! It comes with a 4gb microSD card that you have to unscrew the back to get out. I recommend transferring your Nintendo Network ID (System Transfer) and then removing the SD cards and putting in a new one. It is a hard process but I will create a forum post to help you all! I got myself a 32gb microSD card and it is well worth it

You're welcome, and I will ^^

Yup the New 3ds XL is very worth it and I was super glad for the better processing powers it has which is becoming quite concerning with the recent games like smash and Monster Hunter . I would really love to buy it but I sadly don't have the money and besides , my regular 3ds is still in a playable condition and only when it really is in a uncomfortable position will I buy the New 3ds XL . I love it

Fredinator2011 I definitely want to upgrade my memory card right off the bat so I will be reading your handy tutorial that was so helpfully put here to lead us to the promise land.....a place where lots of games are always with me but not a lot of things to carry!

I got the same system as you 9The red New 3DS XL) and I totally recommend it as well if you need to change your current 3DS. If you don't need to change it, maybe it's not totally worth it right now if you're not a big Smash player. Waiting for the new games isn't a bit idea before buying it, even though I don't regret it at all!

For now, I will stay with the good old 3ds xl of mine and buy the new one only when pokemon comes out on it. Plus, I only bought my current 3ds xl about 5 months ago so I should first get used to my older version

Is it still worth it if you don't care about amiibos, MH4U and SSB? I would like better 3d and a better CPU but I heard the stylus and cardtridge placement are really annoying and that it doesn't do much else. Is that true?
