Mario Kart i just picked up Mario Kart 7

i havent played it yet, how does it stack up to older mk games? i guess my fav mk game was on the n64

(This is if you haven't played it yet) Think of it as Mario Kart Wii on the go. The graphics are very similar. The controls are very easy to understand and it has a nice gyroscope mechanic. And there's the new and redesigned tracks, my favorites being Music Park, Neo Bowser City, and Mario Circuit 2.
 
Mario Kart 7 is a pretty great game. Like the comment above mine states, it is quite similar to Mario Kart Wii graphics-wise and the controls are easy. However, in Mario Kart 7 you can customize your Kart using different types of wheels, body type, and glider. Although the unlock feature, in my opinion isn't as great as Mario Kart Wii's (Since I really enjoyed how creative and unique each different kart's design was in MKWii). Mario Kart 7 is also really good for online play, if you are into online racing in Mario Kart. Overall, I think Mario Kart 7 is a really good game, and I personally think you will really enjoy this game! :)
 
This game is a very good 3DS title. As for it compared to others, I don't think it could beat Mario Kart Wii or Double Dash, but it is still very good, nonetheless. It is very similar to Mario Kart Wii, with a few cut features and stages(rip Bikes). Also, there aren't many characters compared to Wii. But the gameplay is solid, don't let these cut features discourage you. I hope you enjoy the game!
 
Mario Kart 7 is a good game :3 Despite being one of those really old games on the 3DS, it's still loads of fun, such as playing online or locally with friends or anyone. It has a lot of features and unlockables you can get so getting the game would never be a bad choice! It's still as fun as all the past MK games.
 
i hated mario kart double dash, i think it was the worst mario kart game to date
 
I think it has the mechanism of mario and luigi partners in time is quite the same as this game. I don't know it is just an opinion. But i like much the semi retro games like that one. Also inspired by all paper mario game franchises with a very different story we know it
 
Mario Kart 7 is a pretty good game once you start playing it. However, what I felt was that after a while, it becomes really boring and you lose interest in the game. I'd say the online play is pretty fun, but it takes a while for it to start. Overall, tho, I still play the game, and I like it!
 
I have Mario Kart 7 and I really enjoy it. I like it more than Mario Kart 8 to be honest, but it is not as good s Mario Kart Wii. The courses in Mario Kart 7 are really fun and creative. The characters are kinda eh though. (looking at you, Honey Queen) Its a pretty good game, and is awesome to play on the go. Its really fun!
