Do anyone think Shulk is OP/Broken? I have been playing Shulk for as long as I have remembered ever since smash 4 had came out and I have been told many times that why am I using Shulk because he is beyond op and stuff. And I just be like "what? How is Shulk op?"
Also I watched videos on YouTube about how Shulk is op and it appears to be coincidence that people just post those videos for attention.
So, I just wonder if he is seriously that broken or not?

The people who think he is broken just don't know how to fight against him. I use Kirby against Shulk and the Monado arts make Kirby a beast. Another thing people think about Shulk is vision, it lasts really long and is powerful. But to get around that, just grab. Lots of people do smash attacks into Shulk's vision which is why he can kill with it. Shulk is alright the way he is, people just need to learn how to fight him.

Not to mention that Shulk is also a slow character with the only fast moves consisting Nair, Dtilt and Utilt so they can also punish him when he is in lag and his vision is very laggy if he misses during startup so when he lets go of the Monado then strike, but it is tricky so it's best to grab.

His smash attacks are crazy though am I right do you see the reach in that dang sword like thing (Monado) and I mean his monado arts can be OP though because if you play them right like when I play shulk i start off with shield then I would go into combos by doing mostly random smashes and i finish by quickly changing to SMASH and then... yeah you know. But you keep playing as shulk YOU will be OP try to do the Monado arts when your opponents least expect it and punish them like go for Smash with I dunno 1-? Hits then go shield and switch to Bust up and go back slash start combos in air with jump and that's what the arts are there for randomly shooting out defense then Smashes but ultimate defense is shield, counter and dodge roll can go on forever... good luck!

In theory maybe but his playstyle is so hard if you want to master his arts. His stats are inconsistent all around and that can be really hard to adapt to and can allow you to miss moves a lot. His moves are basically the same as any other swordfighters otherwise so he can still be resisted by a good defensive camping game and I prefer Ike over Shulk because he's more consistent and if you like the speed form maybe one of the other swordfighters. His moves can be pretty laggy as well but at least he has a solid up tilt and aerials. His smashes also reach insane and almost deceptive lengths so it's not like Shulk is all bad.

No not really. I would say Rosa is OP. BUT SHULK NO. His monado make him a beast and powerful and that should monado though. But he is quite easy to beat and has lots of landing lag for his aierals. But Jerm ( the best shulk main) makes him look look easy but is hard and shulk in annoying to me because of the Spped, Sheiks, and buster monado

Not specifically, I think Shulk's kind of average. The people who know how to use him well, like the different boosts, are really good with him, especially since his smashes are basically two strong hits (first the sword, then the laser blade thing). Shulk's also one of the longer range melee characters.

I don't believe Shulk is an OP character. While he is a good character, there are others that are much better than him. He is very versatile, allowing him to adapt to many situations, but he still doesn't stand a chance against characters like Rosaluma, Shiek, Diddy Kong, and even Luigi. Although Shulk has range, other characters can still out camp him.
