Hi, every1. If you may know, my manga series is currently in the sketching stage. This means I have finished writing the story and have started drawing the actual panels. I have a problem, however. My current stage as an artist makes it hard to draw a single panel without it taking forever. I (for some reason) have to first draw out the basic figure, then basic detail, then detailed details in order to draw each character, backdrop, and everything else. If there are any tips or pointers for me to be able to skip the first two stages (which I have been trying to do by myself) then I would appreciate the help. I just want this series to be done as soon as possible for it to be out on shelves for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks for the help

There wont be any way to skip thoes steps. But, depend on how you do it you can minimize the timesits consume by who-know-how many folds.
I was seen a rogue sketch of a manga page before, the One Piece manga, and i have one words for that sketch- messy. Its so hard to tell what is going in the character is just a stick figure. The place where it should be a background is filled with a random line out just enough for the arthor to tell what it is. So cast aside my long rant and to the point "you cant skip the steps you want but you can speed it up un various ways"

Oh and also dont rush thing to much. Quality work required times :D

I agree with @Earth2543. I'm also in the process of making a manga. But sometimes I find myself taking way longer than I should on a single panel. What I did was time myself for each page so that I could get an average on how long it should take me to make one. Over time, I tend to slow down. So I check my timer to see if I need to pick I the pace. I understand this isn't necessarily faster, but this helps me understand and maintain how fast I can work without rushing and taking away from the quality of my work. I hope this helps you, even if it's a little.
Good luck!

I would say that there is no short cut to making a manga. It takes a lot of time and dedication to make a good manga. Make sure not to rush making your manga because that could make the quality drop. But I have learned that if you draw a lot over time people can become faster at drawing but it takes a lot of time. I hope that this helps and good luck~
