Once I get my second town started, I think I'm gonna make a journal on what I did that day. What do you guys think?

I guess that is a good Idea. In fact, I thought of doing this myself however I dropped the idea after I started time travelling in the game. You can't write a journalwhen you do time trawelling :(
 
Go for it! Sounds kinda like Tumblr though, but I say go for it here!
Can you provide pictures for your journal please?

Aw, @Charizard1710. :( What if your player has the unique ability to travel through time? If you'd really like to write a journal about your adventures, I don't think that should stop you. Who doesn't enjoy a little bit of sci-fi? I'd read a journal about a time-travelling mayor who interacts with talking animals and acts as if it's all normal! :thumbsup:

I love to write, but I have anxiety issues when it comes to people reading my stuff. If it wasn't for that, I would probably do a journal myself.

I'm right with you there. Writing's a passion of mine, but the instant someone tells me they'd like to read my work, my anxiety starts up. It's fine if you don't want to share it. It might be nice if you begin a journal, but for your eyes only. Then, if you decide you ever want to send it out to the forums or show it off to friends, you can. If not, then at least you have a written record of your adventures that you can go back to anytime you'd like. :)

Thanks for the support! I need a golden axe to edit my first town. I gave PC to someone and he hasn't shown up to give me my axe, so I won't be able to start 'til then... :(

That actually sounds like a good idea! I might just do it. Writing is my passion also! I have tons of journal posts and poems saved on my PC, but I never let anyone read them :eek:

I'm the same way! :eek: My entries just sit around collecting metaphorical dust most of the time, but every once in a while I go back and check up on them. :)

I love that idea! I used to do that with the Mystery Dungeon series. I will totally do that once again and when I get my own copy of the game. Love this idea!

It's always fun to make a gaming journal/blog. It helps remember those rare moments where something amazing happened ingame. I also think it's useful to have a Journal so you can reflect on what you need to add to your town and improve. It'll help all your thoughts stay in one place. Even though I'm not a writer kind of person, I still find it useful. And about the time traveling, it sounds a whole lot interesting too. I'd definitely read that! And don't forget to have fun in this whole process :D

Amazing idea, too bad that I didn't think of that when I started the game, oh well I can start one with another animal crossing game or with the Wii U version (IF we ever get one, hopefully one day Nintendo will reveal it)

Journals are always a good idea. Just make sure that they're interesting and detailed. Too many video game journals I've read in the past are boring and bland. Also, (If your planning on making daily entries) for when you don't play New Leaf on a given day, it's best not to make an entry for that day, as you can explain your absence in another entry.

Cool idea! I love Science Fiction. I will start working on it Real soon! Don't worry. I still remember all the "Important" parts that happened in my game. I will paste screenshots too! and @AislingStarr, you can do this too!! Your journal will look AWESOME!!
