If Bowser had his own game (which some people want) what do you think would be a good idea? Bowser Wars, huh?

Well why does the Mario series need more attention anyway? It's already popular enough. I've been thinking there should be a Pikmin RPG spin-off (no not like Dempa Men at all) that's like Pikmin army against a possessed creature army. It would make use of the Pikmin game's battle style/ collecting items over a certain amount of turns and it would make the Pikmin games seem less hectic for newcomers (darn Smash Bros. gives me hype for any Nintendo character that I like to play as).

But if I were to come up with a game for Bowser it would be a 3D fighting/platformer with other playable Koopa Kids and the game would involve Bowser sneaking into the castle and kidnapping Peach/ other princesses because none of his other kidnapping plans work. The second half of the game is running away and the final boss is Mario.

Bowser Wars would act similar to Shadow the Hedgehog (game) with weapons, this is when he tries to conquer other kingdoms and tries to defeat greater evils that oppose the might king of Koopas. This would be like an RPG platformer, but more in-depth.

Sounds like a bad idea, it wouldn't work out or even do very well. Bowser is better off being in Mario games. :p

bowsers inside story is kinda, but thats not just bowser. do you mean a game like donkey kong jr, exept bowser and bowser jr.

This would be hawt. I love games that give you the opportunity to play as the villain for a change, instead of the hero all the time.

Playing as Bowser would be interesting. Imagine the storyline from the perspective of the villain. Imagine if the villain won. Imagine- stop imagining. Basically, this Bowser game idea thing would be pretty unique and interesting. If you won the game, what would happen to the main heroes of the actual games like Mario and Luigi? The idea would be very nice, since the game would be like a whole new world and version of the main Mario games.

Former Mario villains like Donkey Kong and Wario got their own games, so Bowser having his own game would make sense.
If there were to be a Bowser game, I'd like it to be about how Bowser's origins. Where did the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. come from? Peach isn't their mother, so were they adopted?

I would like a story maybe telling about Bowser's childhood. I am 100% sure that if it actually happened, Nintendo would make it some heartwarming story of how Bowser was turned evil by past experiences and how that led to his demise. I could already imagine it since it makes so much sense given Nintendo's tendency to make games with a morale or meaning behind them.

I think it would be a browser game where browser is confronted to much evil browser than him trying to steal his throne and all his general so browser would be asking Mario and Luigi for help and Mario and Luigi would say no and one of the worker working for Browser would say you gotta beg him sir, browser would say i would never do that that an no and while seeing browser's workers being slave of working for evil browser he would say okay i'll beg them and it will be a great fight adding more power for browser with a new powerupp call rage mode would be a cool adventure

If bowser had is own game? Never would happen, villans don't typically get there own games... (Like waluigi not having his own game :/) the only villan who has his own game/s in the Nintendo world is wario really, and his games are fun I have to admit! Not sure about a bowser video game though... Might be a bad idea, I don't think Nintendo ever will though, its not like them

If there's a Bowser game, I want it to be of the tactical turn-based RPG variety.

Specifically, where Bowser uses his own army (of Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Hammer Bros. and the like) to take out other armies and kingdoms led by other Mario villains. Battles would take place on an expanded chess board (like Pokémon Conquest), and each minion would have different attacks with different ranges and sometimes different effects. Fighting and/or defeating other minions would give experience and eventually levels to that minion, making them stronger and more fit to battle. Each type of minion shares the same level, and there's a limit to how many of each you can bring into battle.

For example, Goombas would attack the space in front of them and more are allowed into any one battle, while Koopa Troopas would attack the three spaces in front of them with a piercing strike (but hitting walls and such would halt the attack and leave them vulnerable for a turn) and less of them would be allowed into any one battle (in comparison to Goombas).

Red Koopa Troopas would attack the three spaces before them, but divert the attack in any possible direction if a wall is approached. If there is no other way, they'd stop on the last vacant space they passed during the attack. Hammer Bros. would attack from 2-3 spaces away, kind of like archers and Artillery units in Fire Emblem and Advance Wars. Fire Bros. would hit every other space ahead of them from the spot they throw from with their fire balls.

Paratroopas would be support units that can also perform weak attacks if need be. They can carry units across rivers or up hills, and while not carrying other units, can only be hit with certain attacks (eg. thrown hammers from a Hammer Bros.). They can only attack if they're above an enemy unit, and dive-bomb them from up there. After impact, the Paratroopa will bounce in the direction of the user's choice, after which the Paratroopa is vulnerable as they are stuck on ground level till their next turn. Bowser would probably be able to recruit some of the enemy units during the main story, allowing for even more unit variety. Possibly even promotions for some units as well if that can be incorporated properly.

Besides just the combat, the terrain of the maps you invade could have exploration features simultaneous to the action. Switches to be hit with various means to allow new paths to be crossed, boulders that can be hit to hurt anything in its destructive path, traps that can either hinder or assist you during battle and probably more. And there should definitely be online if this all can be worked out.

Plus this would be on the Wii U, so the GamePad can easily be used for it. If this happened, that would drive me over the line and make me want a Wii U ASAP.

It'd be interesting, Bowser is probably my second favorite M character, if not favorite. I fell like having an RPG centered around him would be cool. Bowser has needed one for a while, to be honest, he's never really explained to much, he's just the villain everyone just kind of beats up.

Pikmin is suppose to be a strategy game though, it'd be odd seeing it have a RPG spin-off to it. It sounds really cool, but I don't know, it just doesn't seem to fit in for some reason.

I figured it (both the Pikmin and the Bowser game) would play like Fire Emblem since the game has you controlling multiple characters and you can combine smaller forces into bigger ones to get an edge on opponents. Perhaps there could be a new breed of Pikmin if you leave the Yellow and Blue ones together (and you get Green. I am so smart :p). Pikmin is more real time strategy however I'd like to have an RPG one for laid back players who want to assemble plans at their own pace. Plus you usually need a certain amount of Pikmin to do something in the main series games so you could possible do that in the spin-off.

Bowser's Quest
Game Story Line: One day, Nabbit realizes he can use power-ups while taking some from a local toad house and uses them for his personal benefits. At one point he decides to use them to raid a far-away castle in order to secretly snatch 7 wands located there. When nightfall hits Mushroom Kingdom, Nabbit sneaks into the castle, stealing all the wands and taking off immediately thereafter.
The next day a group of koopas drop by Bowser's Castle. They are wondering if he took their wands.
Bowser has no clue what they are talking about and doesn't really care. The group of koopas persuade Bowser to help them find their wands as they could be used to ensue total destruction on their castles. Bowser agrees to help them only if they will one day help him kidnap a princess when her birthday comes around.
The Chunky Bunny with a familiar mask generously gives the wands to an array of World Guardians: King Goomba, Prince Pokey, Mr. Blizzard, Giant Blooper, Wiggler of Rage, Massive Monty Mole, and Lightkitu. There is another World Guardian, however, Nabbit did not consider.

Gameplay: Would have the same look and feel to New Super Mario Bros. U, but would work like a Mario and Luigi game in terms of battle.

Ending: Once
Bowser and the group of koopas get all seven of the wands back, they use the power of their wands to make a giant castle that looks like the one found in World 8 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They never actually find out who took the wands though.

Nabbit eventually gets tired of using power-ups, but continues to "collect" them.

That is an interesting plot for a video game with Bowser in it.

Like people said previously, it would be cool to play a game that told a little history behind the origins of Bowser. He just appeared as a villain and a kidnapper, at least to my knowledge.

Bowser is still in sports games with Mario as a regular character. If he had his own game, it could be one about when he recognizes what he has been doing is wrong. He starts to try to change the people around him but they are already too consumed by evil. They take over the kingdom Bowser used to rule. Bowser must then fight the forces of evil and become the ruler again and change the people somehow.
