Like I imagine later on, when technology advances that they could make hologram pokemon. That would be so cool. Like for example, you would see a shiny smeargle and ferrothorn duking it out in your bedroom! Technology is very up to date in the 20th century. Post if you think they are, going to make one .If not, why?

I doubt it's going to happen. I'm not saying that Pokémon won't exist anymore in 20 years, but, I think it'll get replaced, or if it was to exist, it would cost lots of money, and almost nobody would be able to afford it.

I don't think they will make something like that but if they did I bet they would sell tons of it and gain a lot of money but there was something similar to that like pokedex 3d but I don't want it to be like that application.They probably won't make it because have you seen any 3ds game with this feature? and plus it might have multiple problems.

It sounds very cool and very expensive. Coming from a Pokemon addict such as myself I would want it . at the time of the holographic age there may be so many more like it. Pokemon addict here so... Yea!!!!!!!!! Polemon holpgraphics are cool.

Remember that April fools thing Google or Nintendo (I don't remember who) did? About finding Pokemon in places and stuff. I think that's very much possible in the future. Of course there's always oculus rift and devices like it.

I think this is definitely possible, but I feel as though it would be to different.
I'd be fine with this as like a side thing but I honestly want it to stay as a turn-based game.

I would totally want a Pokemon vrmmorpg. Holograms... Meh, but it would still be an awesome advancement on what we have now. I'm going to hopefully go into biomechatronics in the future. I don't expect anything on the level of SAO in my time, but I want to help reach toward that goal.

If hologram pokemon were to happen, it'd depend on Nintendo making a handheld console that could use such a feature. Given things like Google Glass coming up now, in the distant future it's entirely possible that such a thing cold be made.

Using augmented reality with something like Google Glass would be cool, but I wonder how it would be made so that Pokemon do not spawn in things like walls. Possibly with something similar to echolocation.

I think based on current variations of augmented reality stuff used with the 3DS, such an idea isn't completely out of the ordinary. I mean, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity creates random dungeons based on the color and size of round objects you scan in the real world. And as a prototype, you've got the Dream Radar from Gen V.

Yeah. VR is Oculus Rift. AR is kinda like the Holo Caster you see in Pokemon (but imagine that in real life) and 3D is well....3D lol Also, that thing you're talking about is in an alpha stage at the moment, so it's not really developed yet

I just dont like the 3D effect on 3DS but I like the 3D world in 2D if you know what I mean. Holograms are 3D effect for me

With the rate of advancing technology, I am very sure that this will be possible in the near future. I hope they release something like that very soon. It would be awesome. However, I guess Nintendo should first be working on a 3ds in which you can see 3d from the side too!
