I think Wii updates will always be up and available for install no matter what because of WiiConnect24.

Wait, nevermind I think what I said is incorrect. I think wiiconnect24 was only for dlc and staying connected to the internet, if my research is giving correct results. You should be able to update if your Wii is connected to your internet. If you get the error code 32007 though, that means your wii disconnected during the process.

I think you can reupdate by using games that come with said update
