Have you ever thought there was a better name for a Zelda game? If so, post your ideas here, and feel free to explain why you made the change.

I'll start off by saying I would re-title Zelda II: The Adventure of Link to The Legend of Zelda: A Test of Courage because I think the latter is more fitting to the story line (and difficulty

), and with the 16 other Zelda games currently out there I decided to drop the "II" part.

Honorable mention: I like the Japanese name for ALttP (Triforce of the Gods) better, but that isn't my own idea.

That was a pretty boring name, tbh. They could've thought of something better. I guess they ran out of ideas. xD

I think the names of all the other Zelda games are fine. =3

Ocarina of Time 3DS to Zelda: Most Overrated Piece of <censored> of All (Ocarina of) Time! 3ds

Ocarina of Time 3DS to Zelda: Most Overrated Piece of <censored> of All (Ocarina of) Time! 3ds

haters going to hate.

I would rename the second zelda game on the NES, not sure what but I think it needs something a bit simpler.

The Legend of Zelda: Harp of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Rod of Seasons for the two GBC games

Link in the hoods.

I think the games' titles are fine as they are, but if I could change one, I would change A Link to the Past's title, just because there really isn't any time travel...

Ocarina of Time to The Seven Sages

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Yellow and Blue.

Not really...

I would change The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening to The Legend of Zelda: Ballad of the Wind Fish for obvious reasons, and because of the recurring theme of naming the game after important things. i.e. Oracle of Ages/ Seasons, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, etc.

I really am fine enough with the series title really , but if I were to change a name of a Zelda game , it would be LoZ : Ocarina of Time to The Legend of the Triforce of Courage and Time . Sounds pretty long but cool :p and LoZ : A Link to the Past to LoZ : Intertwined Worlds .

Probuably all of the games to Lengend of Link.
Cuz Zelda doesnt really play as the protaganist just the damsel in distress so I dont find it a suitable name really :/
Else I'd keep all the names cuz they're all well chosen names.

I dunno I don't really want to change any. Maybe the new one coming out to Legend of Zelda: Fashion Simulator xD or as a joke Skyward sword to The Legend of Groose: Slickest Pampadour. Because at the end of skyward sword when groose says he will call this adventure the legend of groose I laughed really hard. It was also hilarious when he said he has got the slickest pampadour in town xD. I am not really sure what else. I am not good at serious names.

I wouldn't change any name of a Zelda game, since most of the time, the title relates to something important, like Ocarina of Time focuses on the Ocarina, an important item, and Majora's Mask focuses on, well, the Mask. Phantom Hourglass focuses on, well, the Hourglass, and Minish Cap focuses on the Minish.

The only game that I would change the title of would be The Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past, as the game doesn't really have anything to do with the past. I would instead change the name of the game to The Legend of Zelda: the Dark World, as that is where a lot of the focus of the game goes (even if this name is somewhat similar to a Link Between Worlds.)
