If you could design the next Pokemon Game, what's the theme?

Since the more recent Pokemon games have been more controversial than previous entries, what would you do if nintendo said "Here are the keys, don"t lose them"? Would you have them harken back to more of the old games, or try to innovate them? Personally, I would want Generation 10 of pokemon to be a collection of the 10 generations and (if the timing was right) 25 years of pokemon history.

Nah too much work and similarities already and the player would be tired of it. I think if there was a game with only new Pokémon (something that's never happened ever in Pokemon) then we'd have a better meta and a fun game. The closest thing to that would be Gen 5 and Gen 1 technically, but I mean not even having previous Pokémon available either making each game feel unique. If you mean theme as in culture or location I'd say just have locations be like in Colosseum/XD and just travel around certain areas and maybe travel to previous regions but only for battle and items and not catching.
