IGN unboxed the Nintendo 2DS

It has the same accessories of the Nintendo 3DS, but with a cheaper box.
Also, it feels like a console controller, also is stronger than the original one and it won't fit on your pockets XD

Also it has the 3D camera, so you can pic 3D pictures but you can see them on 3D (fu*k logic).

Also, it comes with the 4GB SD as we know and the black design is really beautiful.

Actually, this console doesn't look weird or bad... 0.o

I just looked a little more closely and realized that the design does indeed make it look like it be more ergonomic. No longer a bad design, Nintendo.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of this new design. I think its kiddish (which works in favor of their intent) but I can't see it being popular to a demographic of adults or even teenagers.

I was thinking... I forgot the AR feature.
Maybe they need the two cameras just for that

The AR feature may very well be the cause. Perhaps they only lack a system required for 2D that we don't use much, maybe even some specialization of the QR codes, when there is only a 2D camera; thus, a 3D camera was included.

Problem solved, I suppose.

You can't make 3D photos if you can't see in 3D.

Yes, but the software itself don't let you take 3D photos without the 3D activated.

Well, I'm not entirely sure of this, but I think Nintendo themselves said it could take 3D photos. I'm too lazy to verify this right now though But most major sources are claiming that it can take 3D photos that can then be viewed in 3D on a 3DS.

If it has the cameras, it should be able to do 3D photos, by logic. Cutting software support would not reduce the cost of the 2DS system.
