Ike the Unstoppable?

I'm just gonna report my time on Classic with Ike,and you guys tell me what you think,k? So,jokingly,I picked Ike,and put the difficulty setting on 9.0.The highest setting.To my surprise,Ike breezed through his opponents,even better than Little Mac! I was pretty startled(Skydoesminecraft reference,lol. ).Anyway,I made it to Master Hand and Crazy hand,without using my two lives in the previous fights,which shocked me even more! I died only once by the doppleganger Ike,but the second try? Used one Aether to bring that sucker down,and one Smash attack.Blew him away in two blows.TWO...BLOWS! I think if I were to try that again,I'd do a perfect 9.0 run with Ike,hands-down. What do you guys think?

Huh, I might have to give him a go, but I dont think he is strong in Smash since, he can easily be outmaneuvered by quicker opponents. Of course, I could be wrong, Id just have to test him out myself.

Wow that's interesting. Did Ike get nerfed? I have one question: Is Ike any quicker in the new game? I imagine that if Sakurai wanted to balance the cast of characters, he would improve Ike's speed. Just wondering.

@SuperMii3D :I'd definitely give him a go,seriously.And,if you add some speed enhancers to make him a bit faster,he can dodge pretty good too! Experiment around with him,I think you'll be happy with the results! @yorky97 :Well to me,he still kinda slow like in Brawl,but if you equip him with some speed enhancers,he can be in and out at a pleasing speed for some. ^^ Personally,I customized my Ike with lots of power,and speed,with a sprinkle of defense.If I don't become too overconfident with him,he's really strong!

well I believe any character could breeze through 9.0 classic, It all depends on who is the one controlling the character Sounds to me like you could do it with him myself! Tell me if you can and good luck my friend!

@zekiebouy :That's true,I like your comment! If a gamer finds his/her Sync-Character,anything's possible! Now I'm wondering if I've found another main here... The possibilities are endless!

Jason I'm startled! Love that he always said that.
Never given Ike a go. I like more quick characters. My cousin maind him brawl.
I like his Final Smash though.

@SNESLink :Same here,I usually gof the quicker characters because the slower ones just...Just....GAH! Xo Gets on my nerves,y'know? But I give him props for being a powerhouse though,the guy's strong! And his Final Smash? Pure awesome.Nuff' said.

Yeah. I think Ike can make it right through 9.0 Classic. He is an extremely strong and powerful fighter. His attacks all deal a great amount of damage and knockback.

ike is a great fighter, and computers are gullible. Hes quite easy to take advantage of, as his smash attacks leave him wide open if he misses.

XD He may not have speed,but that power is no joke.. .-. @Kyubey :True,Ike's smash attacks do take a while to use,which is a problem in some cases.You'll have enemies swarming all over you once you use one! I know that all too well,lol.But Aether's pretty fast! Plus,it sends characters up in the air,then sends em' crashing down! That's how I won after the first loss on 9.0.

If you DO actually land a smash (his side smash, specifically) it can send enemies flying when they're at 26% and maybe even KO them it does a decent amount of damage, which is nice against the Hands.

I used him tons in Brawl and always schooled my family and friends who would play with me. It's true that his smash attacks can take a while but once they're charged up they are hard to recover from.

@Kyubey :Huh...That's actually a good bit of info,because I SWEAR I only hit the doppleganger twice with Ike! Maybe I need to check how much percentage it was on Sandbag. @skinick25 :Tell me about it... >__< I can still feel the stings when my brother beat me all those times. ;-; It doesn't go away.... XD @Artisan :Why not? Ganondorf performed great when I finished with him! I actually think that I could take him up higher than 7.9 because of his power! As for that Purin? Uhh,the jury's still out on that one. .-. XD But then again,stranger things have happened!

I think ike is a very strong swordsman. He is so strong in smash bros and can destroy anybody in his path. I have used him a lot in smash bros brawl and he is awesome. Yes ike is the unstoppable.

@jobby47 :Can't argue with ya there,dude.He did make through all the characters on the highest difficulty! I'm definitely gonna try him again after getting most of the challenges outta the way.
