The Night Fury
Towns Folk
I'm at the Grass-Type Gym in Santalune City. I've tried to beat Viola a few times, but I've failed. :( My team is all Fire-Type, because I read on a website that you need Fire-Type Pokèmon to beat Viola. I have Fennekin as my starter, Pansear x3, Level 4, Level 4, Level 5, and Fletchling x2, Level 3 and Level 4. I've stocked up on Potions because they'll be useful (I have 6, I lost quite a few of them in my previous battles with Viola.)
I know that I need to level up my Pokèmon quite a bit, and I also know that you can do that by fighting wild Pokèmon. But there has to be a faster way to level up...

I suggest you love your Fennekin as much as possible, doing all the Amie stuff to increase your EXP gain on your beloved Pokemon (They also can break out of paralasys etc.) because Fennekin evolves into the sexy male humanoid Pokemon with a skirt and gets even more Fire type moves. If you want to level ALL your pokemon in your team, go outside the gym and go left. If I remember there's a woman standing near a gate. Talk to her, you will have to battle, and you'll get an item called 'Exp. Share'. When turned on it shares your gained exp to your other Pokemon. You don't need a whole team of Fire type Pokemon, one who loves you in Pokemon Amie is enough, collecting various types of Pokemon in your team is also good. The key is just making your 'main' and favourite Pokemon love you, it's really good, although if you really get into the game some lines in battle may get to you :panda:

Thanks a lot for the help! :D

:D Oh, and my Fennekin evolved just now. :D

Here's a 'secret' -- if your Pokemon has 4+ hearts in Amie, and when you catch or defeat a pokemon, rub the top of the attack button on the bottom screen. I'll leave the suprise for you :D

Another tip: use the training feature on the bottom screen (press L/R until you find it), and try to make your Pokémon exceed in two stats (Like: Sp. Attack and Speed, then make +4 Defense), it will be really useful!

If you don't know which one you should increase, here's a second tip:

If an attack has a wave-like symbol over its description, it means that it will use the Sp. Attack stat (You chose Fennekin as a starter, so increase this one!)
If an attack has a star-like symbol, then it uses the regular Attack stat.

Note that this tip is useful for both completing the game easily or trying to challenge somebody online.

Or just go on all out, balancing a good portion of online battles

If you want to level up easily, and if you have unlocked the Lumiose city Centrico plaza, (The one with the prism tower), leave your Pokemon in the Day care, and get on your bike and go to the Lumiose City Prism Tower.
Wedge a coin aor a card under the circle pad so you keep going to one side, and then after a long time or after you think you are satisfied with how long you spent, go back to the day care and get your Pokemon back. If you don't have Lumiose city unlocked, you should just go straight across and back from the road the Daycare is at.
They might delete some moves, but the one that's deleted first is the top left one (Correct me if i'm right) so switch your important moves to the bottom.
OR, you can trade the Pokemon to me and I will level them up, (For 5 PC) I can get them to a pretty high level, and then I'll trade them back. Hope this helps :)

lol you should have a mixed team and if you want fire
@3dsatackman is the guy to get them from :p
i would say you should level up your pokemon first before you battle her - to lv 15 + to be able to withstand an attack
and btw don't just train one pokemon

I left Fletchlings at the Day Care for breeding today, and I used the same method. And my Pokèmon are already in the 20s for levels, so I think I'm doing OK. :D

Oh, thanks! Luckily I beat her, and I found that out for myself. :p

I like to leave them at the Daycare. I do a lot of walking around, so by the time I go back to check their levels, they're insane! :D
