OK at first you're probably thinking you are full of crap they are obviously different but I disagree because Doc. Mario is just a different texture. The cape is just white instead of yellow, The fireball is a pill instead of a fireball. Really the ownly difference is his final smash.

who u dont know the diffrence? dr maro is melee mario witch means no fludd and if you ask me thats awesome

For what I know, Dr. Mario is a little more stronger physically and its recovery slower, and the pill attack is actually slower than the Fireball.

I don't know if there're more differences to be honest.

still its a difference.......

No. Dr.M has a faster cape that doesn't break his fall, a down special spin that can help him recover differently, and overall stronger attacks vs. slower speed besides the differences already said.

He's different in some aspects, but then again all clones are slightly different then their originals. He's probably just there for Melee fans. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want F.L.U.D.D. though.

FLUDD does like no damage (unless one does damage in the custom moves idk). It might be a great anti-recovery tactic but Mario already has a forward special that can spike with I think might not need FLUDD. He does seem a little gimmicky and besides when Mario is spinning how are you going to damage him? It can help you a lot more when all you want to do is touch the ground at high percentages.

Actually F.L.U.D.D. just reminds me of Super Mario Sunshine. It gives me a feeling of nostalgia.

imo it doesn't because Melee was my nostalgia and sure I had played Sunshine but it was more of a challenge. If only FLUDD had a damaging move though... Perhaps he is a custom Up special with the hover or rocket settings.

I believe there is a custom down special for Mario that makes F.L.U.D.D. do damage.

Yes, Scalding F.L.U.D.D., but back on topic.
Dr. Mario's stronger, but Mario's faster.
Kinda the same with Marth and Lucina.

I hope Dr. Mario is different than Mario. For what I have seen, Dr. Mario has Dr. Finale as his Final Smash, Dr. Tornado as his down special, and different trajectories for moves such as his F-air. Plus, Sakurai always makes characters unique in their own right, so I hope he's different. I don't know this for fact since I don't have the game.

Dr. Mario is pretty much just Mario without his F.L.U.D.D. attack, instead having the same spin attack as Luigi. Dr. Mario hasn't changed since Melee, and he is not really different than regular Mario that much either.

Mehhhhhhhhhhhhh
Mario has his 4 Special attacks- Fireball, Cape, FLUDD and Super Jump Punch.
Dr. Mario has his 4 Special Attacks- Megavitamins, Super Sheet, Doc Tornado, and Super Jump Punch.
Now, with the Firball, it goes a bit faster, but doesnt go as high or travel as far the the Megavitamin. The Cape doesnt do as much damage as the Super Sheet, but you get a small jump when you use it in mid-air (Yes, this is very important) The FLUDD is clearly different from the Doc Tornado. The Super Jump Punch goes higher and does less damage than its Doc counterpart. Now, why is Mario an issue? We have Lucina, Falco, Dark Pit and Ganondorf who are still clone characters but all have different attributes, which can also be said for Dr. Mario. Im not going to get any statistics, because that would take way to long to explain.

Honestly I don't know but I don't know why they would put Dr.Mario in the super smash bros game, they could have put another character in the game since they already have Mario.

Sakurai already stated that some characters were meant to be alternate skins, but since their attributes are different they were made into their own character. And before you say "But they could have put in *Insert character here* instead of Dr. Mario" let me assure you that Clone characters are a lot easier to make than unique characters because the moves are already there, the just have to tweak the attributes.

he got a slight diffrence. Dr. Mario is untouched since melee and mario change a little bit in Brawl. but you will have to try both to fine your favorite. Good Luck :)
