So when I was training with Marth, when I pressed the A and B buttons simultaneously, instead of my neutral B, my forward Smash came out. I didn't even touch the Circle pad while unleashing the attack. So the timing is a bit strict, but it could be handy in situations.

I probably wouldn't be able to press the A and B buttons simultaneously that quickly in situtuions, so it wouldn't be that much of a use for me. I guess it isn't that useful in general because Marth's Forward Smash is easier done the usual way :p Although this is pretty interesting.

It's a new tech that was added in the 1.0.6 update, where pressing A+B will let you do a Smash Attack. Although I never found it useful, so I just turn it off just because I never even use it, like the control stick to jump.

Please avoid using the word tech for something else than what it really means. Not that your sentence here wasn't understandable, but sometime people could be confused at one of your sentences.

I never knew about this strange button combo. It seems like Smash is beginning to integrate some Super Street Fighter/Tekken type of stuff, but on an extremely low level. It's pretty awesome and may come in handy at times. Hopefully the button combo doesn't need to be too precise in order to work correctly.

I think that was new to the update. Some other neat tricks in Smash 4 can get you out of shield easy (shield dropping), and the easier one @np2016 knows about can get rid of lag when knocked onto the ground. There's also B-reverse (B -> opposite direction facing on Circle Pad/Analog Stick -> R) which is a quick turn around as you are using your neutral special. Although it doesn't seem to be super beneficial sometimes it can be if it's more advanced like the ones on MySmashCorner (YT Channel)

That's a very good technique but not everyone would like this, at least not me. I believe this technique can be a disadvantage because you can accidently buffer it and thenyou get punished. Nice find though.

Wow NP I never knew that they added it in update 1.0.6. that's pretty nice to find e. I hope plenty of people would catch on to that tech of his. This tecvh can even revolutionize tournaments like EVO and other local tournament.

Wow this is good and I think you should tell this to smashboards to let them know that there is a new way to smash with the circle pad in hand. It would be cool if this actually pulled off as a new tech and pros play with this awesome tech. I dont play with the gamepad or Game Cube Controller but I play with the WiiRemote (Horizontal) and I have found many ways to grab and new ways to smash

Oh that's nice. But I think it's for both the 3ds and Wii u. I just hope that this is a really important tech because I prefer a smash attack with the control pad. I am more accustomed to the control stick than a+b. Because I think of it as more of a burden that a pro because accidentally pulling this off would be like tripping randomly in ssbb

Did you just ignore my post, 4 posts above yours, saying that "tech" shouldn't be used for something else than what it means ?
It's like if I started to call "idiots" everyone I like, even though "idiots" has a different meaning. Would that make any sense ? No.

No, I did not see it, I'm so sorry.

Well that seems pretty weird that such a thing could happen  I guess the update that NP referred added new control bases . Sometimes I do find some moves executing on certain button inputs so yeah . It can actually be useful or dangerous using it against someone though .

Yeah unless you aren't used to it it can be somewhat of a risk to take if you accidentally buffer it. It isn't A TECH i DON'T KNOW why I keep saying tech lol XD b able to get a feel of it that's great.
