Invisible Micro SD?

Hey peeps, I was wondering if you guys could help me with a problem where a MicroSD or SD card is not detected when it's plugged into the SD slot in a computer...this happened to my 3DS micro SD, so I would love to get all the data back safely. Re-formatting is not an option, as the card cannot be recognized at all, and because that would delete all the data...Thanks, y'all!

There's either something wrong with the SD card or the laptop, you have to find out which. Does it work in another computer? The SD card slot might just be messed up ;-;

I think I might've accidentally popped the SD card out before ejecting it. :/ I actually ended up re-formatting the card. At least I learned my lesson--I'm now backing everything up on Google Drive. As long as I don't pull a KissAnime, I should be fine...
