No. Not at all. I was once drawn into the game from a video. I bought the game with the intent of having a new fighting game that I could enjoy because I was tired of Super Street Fighter 4. It was entertaining for a while. But later on, it just felt like a game you win simply by mashing the buttons randomly, just like SSF4. I was SO bored with it that I took the cartridge apart and placed the MK7 chip in it, hoping it would work. It didn't so DoA just sits in a jar of games. The only joy someone like me could get out of the game is the physics. Worst 39 bucks plus tax spent. Couldn't get a full refund.
