Ok this is happening to me like most of the time in school so look usually when I'm walking with a friend in school going to different class period. We usually encounter people ,but most of the time my friend encounters a lot of people he is knows while I barley talk to people. Last time me and my friend we walking in lunch then some guy talked to him and I didn't interrupt their conversation I stayed quite while they were both talking. I didn't even talk at all because I taught it was just rude or weird if I popped a different conversation and I don't really talk to a lot of people at school because most of them are rude and are mean or because I don't know them. I'm a type of person who talks to people and laughs ,but yet likes to get respected by others by giving each other respect ,but in my school there isn't many people like that. For example there is a girl in my class who is very rude ,but I just ignore like idc what she says because all she does is cuss and stuff and she usually cusses me out and I'm afraid we might get into a fight if she keeps going like this. Also comment below if what I do is rude or not rude and why.

Well, I guess it depends. While there is nothing you can do about the girl who cusses, for friendly conversations, the most widely accepted thing to do is to just say 'Hello' or 'Hi', though staying silent works in most situations as well.

Thanks for the advice and thats what I always do stay quite.

@Leaandro15 Yes it is respectful to stay quiet in conversations, and as far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with it. As for the girl who curses you out, just try to ignore her. As far as I'm considered people that act like that are just doing it for the attention and are stupid idiots. She is trying to get a rise out of you and try to get a reaction out of you. Just ignore her and walk away.

I know it's easier said then done but that's what I would at least try to do.
