AC:NH Is it safe to time travel in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

But yea, I was wondering if it's safe to time travel in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, or if there are consequences to messing with the Nintendo Switch clock. Do you think things might go wrong when Nintendo launches their seasonal events?

I know Nintendo tried to make it difficult with Pokemon Sword/Shield, for example. I doubt they're just ignoring it in New Horizons.

I wanna try it, however, I don't wanna break my new save and I wanna go legit this time, unlike New Leaf. I presume that the game yells at you or just lets you continue, but events would be missing or broken.

Yeah it is from what I heard but it gets weird when u go back in time. And I think turnips go bad instantly if u mess around with the time, but that's at least what I heard so far.

I don't like to time travel so I wouldn't know from experience.

yes it’s safe but be be cautious with this new game as we are not sure how Nintendo feels of it yet.
TT has been a part of every AC game just made harder for Switch.
it has its benefits to TT no matter the version of AC but the only question remains is how Nintendo will take to it in this age.
like the one stated above turnips never survive TT XD doubt they ever will.
