Im thinking about gettin The legend of Zelda TP HD for wii u because i haven't bought a wii u game in some time know but then i noticed i have the wii and gcn version of the game and i don't know any big changes from this version except the graphics and amiibo. Should i get Mario Maker instead?

There's supposedly an extra dungeon that you can unlock through the Amiibo but otherwise I don't think there's much reason to get the HD version if you already have the Wii/GC version (GC version moreso because constantly replacing batteries and swinging a wiimote around sucks.)

I say only get it if you really love TP and want the amiibo. If you're fine without these things, then go for Mario Maker.

Well the HD version has got a new Dungeon, the ghost lantern, and stamps. To be perfectly honest, the stamps are hidden in chests that were already present in the original game so these are not really an addition to the game. You just get some stamps instead of 50-100 rupees. The Ghost lantern on the other hand is really, really useful. In my opinion looking for the ghost wasn't really fun in the Wii/GC version but on the Wii U I have collected them all. The extra Dungeon is not really that great. But if you want to get Zelda U too you can get a Wolf link following you if you beat it.

So all in all I would say it is not really worth if you have already played the original. Go get Majora's Mask 3d instead if you haven't already. That remake added a lot of content.

It's literally not worth it. "HD" is false advertisement as the graphics are the exact same, the controls are worse tbh, and the extra dungeon and amiibo aren't really useful. But if you plan on getting BotW, do it.

Well thanks to gameXplains video sometime ago i know that the graphics are actually better just minor and the game looks much better/prettier imo.

I've already seen those videos. The graphics are barely any better and look the same to me. The game didn't need an HD version TBH.

Well, there is not really all that much of a difference between the GCN and Wii U editions of the game. If you've already played the original, it's really not very useful in a sense to buy the HD version, as even the graphics are not nearly as improved as Wind Waker's jump to HD, for comparison.
