Sadly, it has always been so, only one Mario Kart game on a Nintendo console, only if it was Virtual Console, it's allowed, but sadly we won't get a new Mario Kart on the 3DS.

Yeah, I kinda wish they waited a bit more to release 3DS Mario Kart, but still, a lot of people bought 3DS's because of Mario Kart 7 so sales would maybe be lower. Still I think it's okay to have only one Mario Kart game per system, it would get boring if they'd release multiple.

Now, it's time for the Wii U to receive some attention. Come SSB4, both these systems' sales will sky-rocket (or whatever the term is for going up high). xD

I don't think they will release two Mario kart games on the same console
I mean, that's the reason it's for Wii U.
