As many of you know Mario Party 10 has recently been released, but is it really worth the price tag?

For those who do not know, Mario Party is a 1-4 Player Party Game in which players play on a Game Board collection or doing a certain thing, occasionally playing a few mini-games. The game sometimes change up the formula, whether its by adding different controls or making all characters ride in the same car as one another. But all in all the games are fairly similar.
In the newest game they mainly use the Car mechanic mentioned above. This was also used in Mario Party 9, not one of the most popular games only selling around 2 millions copies since 2013. In the newest party game many modes are included including Amiibo Mode and Mini-game Modes. Amiibo mode allows you to use you're Super Mario Series™ Amiibos to play a mini-Mario Party, fun for what it is.
The newest and most advertised is the new Bowser Party Mode. This mode allows you to play as Bowser, and play special Bowser mini-Games. This mode is one of the most fun part of this game and adds new forms of game play.
Now the game is lacking in characters a bit, but makes up for it in game play! All the mini games are fun and fast pasted, a few easier than others. The animations and looks of the game are veeeerry similar to New Super Mario/Luigi U, but its welcomed because the game looks good!

My final verdict for this game is 7.5 out of 10
The game is enjoyable to pick up and play and has nice graphics, the games and modes are fun and enjoyable, this is a good family game for any party or get-together !

Mario Party 10 does indeed have its good features, all of which you have mentioned. The idea of everyone traveling together in a single vehicle seems to be the main reason to turn people off from the game (though MP9 sold pretty well in spite of this). Amiibo mode is probably the most unique thing in MP10, but can't be unlocked without any Amiibo, which might be another turn off for some.

This game (along with all other MPs) was definitely made with the intention of playing with friends and family, though one person can still have a great time playing it with just the CPU.

I love all the Mario Party games and the car mechanic isn't the best thing that ever happened, but I can still play the game. Mario Party 10 is still better than the older versions, with everything you might expect in a newer game of a series; new mini-games, new maps, better graphics, upgraded gameplay, etc.

Mario Party 10 is a very fun game. But I did not like everyone moved in one car. But other than that, the game is a thumbs up for me.

Maybe perhaps that I'd say that Mario Party 10 is quite worth it . It might have had the new Car Mechanic thingy but it was still quite fun to play with friends and etc. Amiibo also quiet added some more neat features as well . But I still think that the old ones were still pretty better but the new one is still worth however .

I don't think it's worth it. D:

The minigames are really bland, in my opinion. Also, Bowser Party is soooo one-sided >.<

The graphics are really nice though, but this game needs a lot more added to it. I think Mario Party DS was better than this game .-.

I would say Mario Party 10 is great and really worth getting, who wouldn't wanna play as The koopa king and experience new mode's such as the amiibo parties which are really fun and bring new features. But i still wish this Mario Party would have at least 2 more game boards to play on, Mario Party 9 had 7 while Mario Party 10 has 5 but that was the only flaw for me but everything else was really good Ü

I think that Mario party 10 is worth it. There are many fun mini games to play. And also many interesting characters to play as too. I also really like the amiibo support for this game. Nintendo is starting to support amiibos much more. But I think that there should be more mini games to play. Mario party 10 is more fun to play wit friends than the computer players.

Well this game looks like it is worth it, although it has been getting a lot of criticism from many Mario Party fans out there. They say that it gets away from the Mario Party formula and makes sure that everyone wins (no clear loser, since the game still awards them with some points for at least trying)

To be honest, I think Mario Party 10 is worth it. Like most Wii U multiplayer fare, Mario Party 10 relies heavily on dusting off your old Wii-motes. Four players use them to roll virtual dice as they make their way around an immersive (but, sadly, only occasionally branching) game board, and to compete in frantic minigames in an attempt to rack up more Stars than their opponents. In the new Bowser Party mode, however, a fifth player takes on the role of Bowser and, using the GamePad, chases Mario and company around the board in an attempt to prevent them from reaching their goal.
