I only got Alpha Sapphire because I played Sapphire more than Ruby and I thought Primal Kyogre was coolAwesome! Now I just going to see of I get both or one
It really depends on how you want to play the games. If you only like the competitive aspect of Pokemon, I would not recommend it and I would recommend sticking with XY. However, if you like In-Game stuff or the new features like the Contests, then I would recommend getting the game as it would have some new content for you.
Yes, this is very true also, but I wouldn't get a game just for some new Mega Evolutions and tutor moves. I would rather just trade my Pokemon to other people to teach them to my Pokemon. Just my opinion though.Actually, even though I do agree with Acemaster that ORAS does not offer much more in terms of competitive battling, it does open up access to rare move tutor moves that normally cannot be taught to Pokemon in XY, such as Knock Off on a variety of Pokemon, Stealth Rock and the Elemental Punches (Ice Punch, Fire Punch, etc.). Since I don't have ORAS, I have had to trouble others to teach my Pokemon Move Tutor moves by trading over to them... >.>
ORAS also brings more Mega Evolutions to the table, such as Mega Altaria, Salamence, Metagross, Slowbro, and many more. However, if you have XY, ORAS isn't a huge competitive upgrade, as long as you are willing to miss out on certain Megas and also to hassle other ORAS owners for Move Tutor moves.
You know, why was their a Mega Slowbro? Isn't their a, you know, a SLOWKING!? Because their was a Slowking if I remember correctly. But oh well, they do have different stats, but same stat totals. So, we can have Mega Slowking, right? Hopefully.ORAS also brings more Mega Evolutions to the table, such as Mega Altaria, Salamence, Metagross, Slowbro, and many more. However, if you have XY, ORAS isn't a huge competitive upgrade, as long as you are willing to miss out on certain Megas and also to hassle other ORAS owners for Move Tutor moves.
