I have been looking on the shop for Zelda games, and I came across oracle of seasons for around $5. I am really enjoying link between worlds, ocarina of time, and hyrule warriors. I know that it doesn't cost that much, but it would also be a time investment, that I'm not sure if i will enjoy. Let me know what you guys think of the game. If you don't think this is worth it let me know, as well as other Zelda games that you think I might not have played.

It is definitely worth it. Personally I like Ages better since it's more centered around puzzles/time-travel like OOT is but in a LttP fashion.

I recommend you get both games because they have a nice game-link feature that allows you to play through either one game then link the end of that one to the start-game of the other. Basically together it becomes one big adventure and if you do this you get bonuses, items, characters and plot that you otherwise wouldn't be able to access through regular gameplay.

That being said though, if you can only afford one game at this time it honestly depends on what you like more; do you enjoy more emphasis on action gameplay than puzzle? If so then Seasons is for you. Vise versa, if you like puzzles over action then Ages is for you.

Thank you so much, I might have to pick up both then. I love getting bonus items. I love both puzzles and action, but I think that I might take puzzles more because I like to challenge my brain. Thanks for your help, it's going to really going to influence my decision. I probably would have made the wrong choice if it wasn't with you advice:)

No problem. By the way, the order in which you play both games will change either leftover title uniquely; there will be for example some characters only found in Seasons that will show up again if you link over to Ages, and vise versa. Not only that but you'll get a special surprise at the end of the latter game you play which is more or less identical in both games.

I like to play in order, Seasons then Ages as it leaves best for last and gives you the bonuses in Ages, but you can choose whichever order you like.

I highly suggest it!I mean Ages is better than Seasons imo but oracle of seasons is still pretty good. Not to mention games like that are pretty hard to find and should get it while you have the chance :p

Agreed with @Chi #5. I own a cart-only copy of Ages and it cost me $56 over here when I bought it. The only reason I did buy it (aside from the obvious) is because as Chi said they're hard to come by these days and I prefer retail over digital, but that being said I bought the game again on the eShop to support Nintendo.

Yeah, when I said shop, it was because it auto corrected the word eshop into shop. Thanks for all the help, I have a long car ride soon, so I will probably be playing those games. This helped me a ton!

No probs, we all knew what you meant. ;) You should be well occupied on your car trip then, so have fun. :3

I think that Seasons is a great game, but if you are going with an Oracle series game, I would much more strongly suggest Oracle of Ages, as it is much more puzzle-based. However, that is only my opinion. If you like action sequences better, go with Oracle of Seasons instead.
