Is Pokemon out of ideas here's a list of useless Pokemon that had no thought used at all
garbodor,klefki,that stupid ice cream Pokemon I could go on and next year its probably gonna be another remake c'mon think of it

Pokemon's originality goes back and forth. It always has been. Some, like Arbok, are unoriginal yawns (ooh it's Kobra backwards and looks like a snake! ) while others, like Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Xerneas, etc. are very original or inspired. When you've got that many Pokemon there are bound to be useless ones. I don't think they're running out of ideas; it's the same as it's always been.

I think they get most their ideas inspired from stuff in the real world. >.<)/ I'm still waiting for a Pokemon that resembles a potato and one that is shaped like a cardboard box. :3

I heard from my friend that the guy who was a major of helping creating the Pokémon just wanted to be done with that gen so he threw those Pokémon together. But then again I don't know...The new ones will probably be from the other previous regions...

Well sometimes the Pokemons are really no sense and are based on some really common things really Some of the new ones are sometimes cool and bad , but it's all based on real life stuff , so I would still accept it , except that some are really ridiculous Trubbish

As for Pokemon ideas I think GF can think up good Pokemon like Greninja and Goodra. The problem is there isn't a lot of experimentation in the main series and it always has the same boring formula and story. There are plenty of ways GF could upgrade the meta and Mega Evolution was the best/worst idea so far.

The new pokemon that u say were made because they were

out of ideas

isn't really true.
The unova region was based off new york so thy created pokemon corresponding to their location.
As new york city is a messy city they made trubbish
As New yorkers sag their pants they made scraggy
Ice cream is very popular among new yorkers, vanillite
Street Lamps, Lampent
klefki, from all the buildings and modern technology we have
That's where the "stupid" pokemon come in.
But they were creative in making more nyc based pokemon as well
Emolga the squirrel
Lillipup the dog
Pidove, the pigeon
and a great variety more pokemon which are sensable to where they are originated.
So in my opinion, nintendo was probably the most creative durring the time they made unova and they were definitely NOT out of ideas.

In my opinion, I guess it kinda depends on what you mean by running out of Ideas. In this case a lot of stuff in the games have been inspired by real world places, Like Castellia City was based off NYC and Lumiose City was based of Paris. And as far as the Pokémon goes I believe they are getting more creative, wether it's a new generation or More Mega Evolutions.

I can understand that! the only downside about X and Y is that they only had up to about 72 pokemon. It would have been awesome to have more then that, but regardless It's worth playing none the less.

Trubbish is pretty cute

Eh, from what I see, maybe the Pokemon are based off of the things from the place the region is based off of. Like Klefki is based off of keys and there are a lot of keys in France... I have no idea what I'm saying. Pokemon may be running out of ideas, or maybe just can't find things to base the Pokemon off of. Idk .-.

Not to mention Diglett into Dugtrio, Voltorb is a pokeball with eyes that flips up-side down. And how can anyone say bad things about Garbador for being a garbage pokemon (a good one at that) when Muk has existed since the original 151?

Every generation has its ups and downs, from the game itself to the characters and Pokemon.
