On the eShop, a free game called "Pokemon Shuffle" was released, the game to most is a ripoff of Candy Crush and other mix-and-match games on mobile, despite being free, is it worth it? You'd probably say "It is because it's free." but the free doesn't matter, almost all features of Candy Crush are in the game, including in-app purchasing, sounds like a complete clone to me. The game to me is your Candy Crush 3DS title, which I hate Candy Crush, even though I have Pokemon Shuffle.

It's Nintendo's latest Money grab scheme. Every time I read about it they point out the micro-transactions and "energy". It would be a nice game but hey, Nintendo was bound to mess up at least once in a year.

Its not worth anything since its free but if you do need a break from playing games over and over again it gives you a little time to play since you need to replenish hearts and then you go back to play other games that you have, its that kind of game that gives you a break. To me it was worth it.

In my opinion, I think it's worth it. It's a free game, It's your choice if you want to spend money on it or not. Like @DarkLord said, "it gives you a little time to play since you need to replenish hearts and then you go back to play other games that you have, its that kind of game that gives you a break." It gives you a break x)

Technically all mobile games are like one another Candy Crush is like Dragonvale, which is like HayDay which is like all the others games out there. That's how they make their money, they all require in app purchases to get get hearts or gems or whathaveyou.

Shuffle is nice I do hate having to wait for the hearts to restore but that's why you try and save your gems for the 12 gem hearts. But like the others said it gives you a chance to play other games.

To me Pokemon Shuffle is a great game and it is of course worth it because of its free price . Not many Nintendo games are free so I am grateful for this game . Besides , it is very fun to play and level up and train , but the idea of hearts and spending them did get pretty annoying when you really wanted to continue but that helps to take a break from the game and Nintendo would get money from the micro-transactions .

Overall it is a good game worth of its price ;)

You'll not get a cool experienced gaming fight like pokemon with this game but if you wanna waste you're time why not spend money on it but i recommend you to even play pokemon trozei or/as at this period.

I think it should be free price. The game's idea is similar to a game like clash of clans. It gets the player addicted to playing and then makes the player want to pay to be able to play on. The game does not have any kind of story but just achievements u can obtain. It really isn't worth buying if it had a price tag. The gameplay is also exactly like candy crush and that game is free so that makes Pokemon shuffle worth its free price.

Yeah that's my point bro but even free or not i would not put it on my console and it's the same when you deny some apps

I love the fact that this game is free, and it's a really great puzzle game. But the part that gets you is the hearts, leaving you, the player, wanting more, when the game only gives you 5 tries. This leaves you in a state of wanting to go on, and doesn't burn you out on 1 play session. This also leads to the purchases of micro-transactions, a very dangerous thing. They lead you to burning yourself out, wasting your money, and hearts that could of been gotten from time. But all in all, Pokemon Shuffle is a great game, and I'd recommend it to anyone, worth the free price.

It's quite different, there are a lot more matchmaking options and over all the game is a lot more challenging. The music is way better than the CC music and the graphics are pretty neat too. It's a fun casual game that doesn't take too much memory space so I'd say it's totally worth it. (By the way CC itself is already a Bejewelled rip-off) :p

I can see why many dislike the micro transactions, heck I do too but it doesn't make me dislike the game as I think its a game that should only be played in short bursts.

Also people who dislike micro transactions should do what I'm doing playing the game and not paying and maybe Nintendo will recon charging a small price so people can actually buy the game fully would be a much better idea

Yeah as @Derpydo said, Nintendo can't be prefect. I think it is still a good game but it is like POkemon Trozei which I want to get because it seems way more appealing than Pokemon Shuffle. Rusty's Real Deal Baseball was an interesting game, but not that interesting that I would pay money to move on the next stage of game.

Yes this game is fun. You can catch Pokemon and also mega evolve. But the bad thing is the hearts. You use the hearts to battle. You only have 5 hearts and if you use up all of them, you will have to wait to get more. If you do not want to wait, you have to buy jewels with real money to buy hearts. I wait for the hearts but I really don't like waiting.

I totally agree! I cannot believe that you actually have to wait 30 full minutes just to get one heart to play one game!!! It still isn't worth the money though, but street passing helps. The problem is I can't get people street passing for Pokemon Shuffle because nobody seems to have it. I have only gotten 1 street pass so far!!!

If you're the kind of person who wants to do a simple, but fun matching puzzle game every now and then, it is great. I find it quite enjoyable, and it hasn't cost me a cent. However, if you are looking for an in-depth puzzler, or long play times, or you are the kind of person that needs to complete games, don't. It's very easy to get frustrated with the long times for the hearts to replenish, and it's free to play model will entice you to buy buy buy.

Pokemon shuffle is a lot more than candy crush. You have got type matchup, you can catch pokemon and keep them in your team, select the pokemon to use, and even have mega evolution in it!

It's worth it because it's free, but it's not worth actually playing. I won't complain, but after two goes I've never played it.

Well i mean its a long free game so i guess it would be worth it lol. The only downside is that each life takes a whopping 30 mins to regenerate and its not like candy crush lives where you only lose them if you die in a level. I use it as a minigame for 10-15 mins when im not really doing anything so the lives arnt reallly a problem. Id say get it, its free and the first lengthy game nintendo put up for 0.00$!
