I have a 3ds and the new 3ds intrigues me but its seems like an unnecessary purchase just for a few games, do all the new features really make it worth it?

no because you should keep your 3ds because you gen with it

Not now. I'd wait even a few years for it to have lots of exclusive games and a lower price (or good-condition used ones, maybe) to make it worth my consideration. If you don't have a 3DS already, then you should certainly buy the new one, otherwise not. If you can trade your current 3DS in for it, you might get a better deal but that doesn't happen here so I'd really rather just wait. I'll stick with my 3DS this whole gen, if Nintendo are fair to old-3DS gamers.

yeah i sticking with genning also

I don't think it's worth it. It's probably gonna be super expensive and stuff. I'd wait until everything calms down, and stick with my little 2ds for now. And who knows? The games they make might be compatible with both systems. When I saw the feature video, they didn't even add a lot to it imo so I'll just wait.

If your 3ds is wearing out or you feel like the screen may be too small id say get the new 3ds XL it is really amazing but id suggest only buy it when your 3ds broke or something

It depends. If you have had your 3ds for a few years now with a bunch of games and is looking worn out then buy the new 3ds. You can get it for 100$ if you trade in your 3ds and won't have a worn out 3ds anymore. If you have had it for a few years now or just got it and it is not worn out then just wait a while to see some new games come out for the new 3ds and decide if you really must have any and go from there

The extra hardware power really makes it worth a buy. And lets not forget the Right stick or whatever it's being called because that comes in handy every now and then. I'd definitely buy it.

I don't think there will be enough N3DS-only titles to make it worth buying if you already have a 3DS/2DS and are perfectly content with it. The graphics will be slightly better than the Wii's though, hence the reason Xenoblade is only coming to N3DS. But, I already have a 3DS and a Wii U, and I'm content with both, so I won't be picking this one up at the moment.

Currently the new 3ds is not worth it. I will wait for it to get pokemon and Animal crossing games on it first. That is when the price will also get down hopefully. And also I do not use amiibos currently.

According to me person who already got nintendo 3ds there is no need for getting new nintendo. If buy that new nintendo it will waste of money in my opinion and no one going To buy new nintendo for those new features. Hope it help

Not really since if you have a 3ds i think you should stick with it and shouldn't buy the N3DS since it only has a few ne features and all that but i think you can manage fine with your 3ds so i recommend saving up your money to buy a game or something.

I would say no. The New 3DS's only exclusive features are better "tracking" 3D, a slightly bigger screen, barely longer battery life, amiibo reading capabilities, and a C-Nub. The 3D isn't useful in general, the bigger screen means bigger overall, which means clunkier and harder to keep in a case like mine, which can only fit a standard 3DS. The C-Nub isn't used in that many games, and you don't need to use them anyway. The longer battery life I can see could be a valid reason to upgrade, and you don't need the amiibo reading, because there's an amiibo reader peripheral for standard 3DS's soon. Personally, I won't upgrade, but I can see if people like the New 3DS's features, but a better name would be nice. Maybe the Super 3DS because of the SNES-like face buttons color scheme, or 3DSi.

Personally, I won't bother with it until a Pokemon game comes out on it. I never upgrade unless I have to because money is hard to come by. XP
I also don't like that the game slot is on the bottom. It bugs me for some reason, probably because I worry that I'll accidentally pop my game out while playing.

Only if you want better 3d and faster downloads and better internet browsing. Also the other circle pad. Also games load faster when you go to any them. But I don't think that the new 3ds is actually worth it. If you do get it you can transfer data from your other 3ds to the new 3ds

Personally it is, for these factors
- Better Load Times (in regards of Smash Bros.)
- Faster downloads
- Amiibo support
- Vastly improved 3D
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3D!
