So, my birthday is in two weeks and was thinking about asking my mom for a ps vita. I mainly want it for Project Diva f and f 2nd and was wondering if the Vita was worth getting these games for Or not, and if not, then I can ask for something else.

I play the games on PS3, but I've heard they feel really, really good to play on the Vita (I plan to get them on the Vita eventually as well, because who wouldn't love Miku on the go?!). Though I think the important question is are there other games you want for the Vita? I'm not sure if getting a Vita for just two games would really be worth it. I guess if you don't have a PS3 and you really want to be able to play the Project DIVA games it could be, but you can also get a PS3 for about the same price or possibly even cheaper than a Vita.

Though if playing on the go is what you're aiming for, then like I said, look to see what other games the Vita has that you might be interested in before making a decision.

As for the Vita itself, I love it. I think it's an amazing system and I prefer it over the 3DS (though I still love the 3DS too). It has a lot of games that fall right into my area of interest (JRPGs). If you're also a fan of JRPGs, then the Vita could very well be worth getting for you.

I think that the ps vita is worth it. I have one myself. The graphics are astounding on the games! The vita is one of the best handhelds to get. The vita feels very well in my hands with easy controls. The vita also has a back touch screen which I do not like but it is a pretty interesting addition to the ps vita. You can also use remote play and play ps3 or ps4 games on your ps vita which I like too. But most of the games now, sony is not making and sony is depending on other companies to make the games for it.

It really just comes down to the games contrary to popular belief vita is home to quiet a few good games and several cult classics it has Danganronpa 1 and 2 which are amazing mystery/thriller visual novelesque games having a similar feel to phoenix wright.
there are good action games too like 2 SAO games and Toukiden which is a more fast paced and heavily japan culture inspired clone of monster hunter,it does lack the vast selection but the games it has arent all that bad it depends on what you enjoy other wise its a very good purchase.
