Mario Kart Is there a lot of people on the online for Mario kart 8

I'm considering getting mk8 and I'm really happy about the online mode, is there a good bit of players online?
 
I'm stuck between mk8 an Mario maker and its swaying towards Mario maker so far
 
Why not save up your money and get both?
 
As someone who has played Mario Kart 7 up until somewhere in August where I destroyed the cartridge, I managed to still find people online. At least up to 5 or 6. So I can say that you could still find plenty of people online. As for if they're good, hey, it's Mario Kart. It doesn't take a long time to master.
