Is there a Zelda game you always wanted, but never got when you were younger?

After seeing the ads for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask back when I was little, I always wanted that game. I never grew up with it as a kid, and I didn't even play Ocarina of Time until I downloaded both for Wii Virtual Console.

I've still never played Wind Waker I just recently got a GameCube and even though my Wii was backwards compatable I couldn't afford that game.

I'd like to play Legend of Zelda 2 the Adventure of Link mainly because I've heard it's sort of like an RPG in some aspects and the sidescroller perspective would be interesting to try even thought I heard it's an incredibly hard game.

Have you tried thinking about getting the Wii U version of Wind Waker, the HD one?

That's good to know. I have not even played the first Legend of Zelda.

I've played the former two Nintendo 64 games as well as Twilight Princess for Wii and even Phantom Hourglass for DS. I also played both "A Link" games (A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo and A Link Between Worlds for 3DS; of these two, I own the former on Virtual Console and the latter on my 2DS).

I have not played Spirit Tracks, Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures, Skyward Sword, or even Link's Awakening or The Minish Cap.

And when the Wii U Zelda game comes out, I will definitely buy it at my local store; however, I have no plans of getting Triforce Heroes OR Hyrule Warriors.

Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. or The Original Legend of Zelda

I've heard that Zelda 2 is crap because of the sidescrolling, but I've always wanted to try it. I'm up for a challenge ,':^)

I've never played LoZ, so I always think I can't be a real Zelda fan without playing it. Although it seems very empty and plain, I still think I need to play it. ;_;

I always thought that I would never be able to play Wind Waker, as it was a gamecube game and remained overpriced for years after its release. Following the announcement of Wind Waker HD, I was extremely excited, and even more excited to learn that you could get a free copy of WW HD just for buying Mario Kart 8.

Wind Waker was a game I’ve always wanted to play, but never, really got the chance to. What’s weird is that I literally own both the GameCube and Wii U versions of the game. It’s just that whenever I try to play it, something always crops up in real life, and always manages to tear me away from the game.

However, I’m planning on booting up the Wii U version tomorrow, and playing through the whole game. Super excited!
